TBH, why would anyone ever want to play for the Bulls who can play multiple positions, and who holds their hand up when the need is upon us? All they ever get from some quarters is flak. Go ask the likes of Sykes about that? FWIW, I think Addy has done a great job at filling in, given he is no way a natural half back, and has looked every inch a decent SL player. His kicking game looks to have great potential. I'd hate to think that some of the utter waknerage directed at him would persuade him that his future lay elsewhere. Fekk that, it lays here; so give the guy a break ffs!!!'"
Brilliant!!!
Where have I given him flak, you said yourself he's not a natural half back, all I've suggested is putting someone who is at 6 instead of him now we've got more cover for the backs. That's not giving him flak or driving him to another club. You mention Sykes, this is a prime example of what happens when you put someone who isn't a halfback at 6, he had a couple of good games at 6, then got found out.
I give Addy credit for putting his hand up when we were short and has done ok. Now we've a couple more bodies I would prefer a more natural 6.

| Addy has been one of the stand out players this season for me, his kicking has been awesome, in fact, we were talking about how you'd get Gayle back in to this side with the form that the lads are showing.
Dropping Addy won't happen

Sorry but once Gale is fit it is certain he will be restored to the first team. That's no disrespect to any other player but Gale is proven class and we need him back.

| There's no way on earth I would have started Addy at 7 but with the exception of Saints at home where we struggled up front he's played well and most importantly the two class players outside of him BK and Sammut, have got plenty of ball and also played well.
I've never been totally convinced that he looks like a loose forward as his defence hasn't always convinced. His best game was when he played in the left second row against Leeds at Odsal last year when he was excellent. I hope he gets a run in the back row when gale is fit as he's not just a good player but very different to any other forward we have.

| This is the coaches dilemma due to the absence of a reserves or other suitable game time for returning players - and reserves. And I trust FC to make the right judgement as to when is the right time for Gale to resume his natural spot. The upside is that the squads skills including Addys has been strengthened through the responsibilities they have had to take on, and we can be confident that should Gale get injured again that there is a plan B. FC's strategy for a small squad and relatively light pack seems to be the Keegan Gambit, as long as you outscore the opposition. So the way I see it is the same as some other posters, with a bigger pack Gale at 6 and Addy at 13 even if off the bench after Donaldson has tackled everything that moves, will mean a lot of points on the board. This crop of academy players have grown up this season, I expect rumours about Hudds Warrington etc etc making offers pretty soon.

| To be honest I won't be surprised if we start taking offers for good young uns. After what OK has doen it would be a desperate shame but the omens are not good. Gerry Sutcliffe made a few comments in the T&A bulling up our licence decision, but in between the lines you got that shirt sales had been down, that they had fallen short on season ticket sales and that times are hard.
Add to this the news about the council loan etc and I fear we may be vulnerable to more temptation if offers were to come our way.
What I don't understand is how come, even if they didn't get season passes, we are still 2 or 3 thou down on crowds, after the spirit and goodwill built up in the crisis. We have vastly overachieved on most expectations, there's a good positive buzz around the place and especially from the team, so this must be very disappointing. I can imagine if we budgeted for a thou or two more on average at the gate then that's a big hole when you're also robbed of half your Sky money.

| We really could do with making sure we get our Sky money next year.
As for the lost fans. Many came out of obligation last year I think. That desperation has gone to some extent. It's a shame as I think I connected more with the team in 2012 and it's led me to be far more interested now than I have been for many years beforehand. The club needs to market itself and get some new fans on board. That may take time, the team is doing it on the pitch but we need publicity and gimmicks to get first timers in that can be hooked.

Sporting Life says 5pm, so it'll be 5pm here I would think.

| Yeah, he picked up a knock a vs Widnes. Hopefully he'll be back soon as he's been great for us so far.
