| This is comical. I am not saying this because I support the Giants and I haven't seen enough of this lad play to make an informed decision however if you read the T & A piece its little more than conjecture and assumption by the guy that's written it (Ross Heppenstall) and the Bradford backroom staff who seem to be crying foul because has decided to make a decision and jump ship. If you read the article "it is our understanding' and 'it would appear that' quite why the lawyers think an y of the players owe them anything after the way they have been treated is beyond me. I couldnt care less who the lad signs for but what is he supposed to do wait until he doesnt get paid and is able to put food on the table.
Poor piece of journalism. Stick to the facts when they present themselves

You mean by being paid full amounts of their salary on time?

| OK I need some help here. Adey?
As BG was charged with getting the best outcome for the creditos I fully understood, and valued, his stance in refusing offers for our playing staff, even considerable ones such as that for Bateman. I assumed this was to protect the company's assets in the result of making the business a more valuable and attractive proposition for investors.
So, given that the method of transfer to OK appears to have made void all contracts what was the point in turning down income by selling players earlier in the "process?"
I'm utterly bemused by this but wonder if there was a reason why.

| Interesting.... disappointed to hear this but i suppose they have to look after number 1! I just hope we dont see many more follow!
Something of interest though.... If the RFL hasnt ratified the purchase by OK as has been mentioned then surely we cant offer a TUPE for the contracts yet so i would assume he hasnt turned down the TUPE but forced his way out in an almost football style.... I could be wrong but thats how it seems to me!

Stick to the facts? ha ha
To be honest this is about Davy's level this I wouldn't p155 on him if he was on fire. That's why HUdds Town are paying off a loan to build new office space at the stadium despite the fact that they're having to build office space on Leeds Rd - yet Ken's own company are based there. It's also why Huddersfield Giants have absolutely no share what so ever in the ground. He transferred it to his own own company in secret.

| We seem to be getting support from the "big four" clubs - sorry Sheffield Giant Eagle fans but however deluded you are it doesn't include you - would be interesting to see the results of the discussion as to where we go now. Koppy may have agreed a deal but we don't know yet if the RFL will register the contracts of any player leaving for another SL club without paying a transfer fee to us.
If he ends up in limbo for a year it serves him right.

| Extremely poor timing considering the season we've had. Very disappointing to hear that he's willing to pack it in after coming through the storm over the last 4 months.
That being said, he doesn't owe us his career. A bit of loyalty (even if it were to be announced on Monday if we were beaten in France) would have helped.
Players will come and players will go but it always cuts a little deeper when homegrown local players are tempted away. Disappointed sums it up for me.

| Seems pretty consistent with what I've heard about Hudders in recent weeks. Had their eye on our players and academy area. Apparently the only SL club to vote against us staying in SL. Seems they want us out of the way.
Now picking over the players in spite of a SL agreement not to do just that.
For a club who's SL status was down to them being kept up thanks to the agreement of other clubs when they consistently finished bottom it seems pretty poor form.
As for Kopczak himself. I'm disappointed.

| The article specifically refers to the contract being terminated so we'd need to hear from the lawyers to see where the club were on that.
If he wasn't given permission to speak to other clubs then I would have thought there is clearly a case to answer, whatever good that does the Bulls.
And thirdly why apart from money, would he want to sign for a side who have peaked and are going backwards and who play in front nobody?
