I'm glad some of the 'moral crusaders' FC fans aren't our Chairman ! Whilst they would be sat there shaking their heads at other Chairmen acquiring players , we would get not 1 player ! oh well at least whilst other Clubs are beating us , we can hold our head up high !

Get real - my post says it's about £££ and we have it - FACT , also Bulls did 'steal' Radford and others whilst they had the £££ and we didn't - FACT. I am not gloating , just pointing the obvious out to fans who were delighted when they took FCs players

I like Bradford, always have, had many great times with their fans at matches.

I think emotion is getting the better of some Bradford fans, it's such a sad story with regards to what your club is going through, it must be horrible, not only for the fans but everyone connected to the Bulls.

If it was my team (Hull F.C) I would be very upset.

I think everyone should just sit back for a moment and look at the situation in the true way it is. Hull F.C and other superleague clubs are looking to strengthen, the bulls have released their coaching staff, and sadly look likely not to "raise" the funds needed.

The chairman at the Bulls are well aware of this, so they have allowed other superleague clubs to approach their high earning players, to remove the pressure on the wage bill, knowing full well their high earning "assets" are worth a fee, so Bradford in a way will be welcoming the sale of the players.

At the end of the day, if Bradford did not do this, they would not get the funds to stay a-float. If they sell their players to other clubs, they will hopefully have the funds to pay, if they failed to sell their players, they would become "free agents" if they was to go out of business.

SO in reality, it's the only way forward for the Bradford Bulls.

I hope Bradford stay a-float.

Rugby league holds very good passionate fans, no one needs to gloat at others misfortunes, don't forget, we was in the same position before!

I agree with everything you say. Its a business like it or not and the players should be looking at their options, other clubs should be (and are) looking at how they can benefit, we should be looking to see if we need to sell or hold a squad together. Fine. But there are numerous clubs that have made offers and will be making offers, but there is nothing from the other clubs in the public domain as far as I'm aware, (other than when we have mentioned Warringtons interest in Bateman) and no other sl clubs fans have started a thread entitled "Money talks and we have it...." on the Bradford forum, that is just gloating, and thats what people have taken exception to, and what people will remember. It just lines the hull fans who gloat like the op up with our friends from Fev, Keighley and Halifax. Thankfully I suspect the majority however are more reasoned like yourself. Every club has its village idiots, including ours.

There's a difference between moving to take advantage of a situation, and revelling in it. I doubt when our chairman approached Bradford he opened with 'Now then paupers, I've got sacks of cash.' It's unnecessary, unhelpful, and crass. At times like this I realise why Hull fans have such a poor reputation in some quarters and simply hope that all of us will not be considered the same.

In the situation we are in, I really can't blame other club for coming in and looking at our players. However, by the way you have conducted yourself on this thread it's quite clear that you are not a very nice boy at all. This arrogance among a small percentage of RL fans is something I don't like to see. The majority are decent, hard working people who care greatly about the well being of the RL community.

If you were around when we 'stole' Radford, then you know how it feels yes? Why would you want a set of RL fans to go through the same? Bitterness at the success we had?

Hull's position is one for Bradford to take advantage of. If FC and other clubs were cash poor and had no room on the cap then the Bulls demise would be certain. As it is because of good fortune and timing Adam Pearson just happens to be involved in RL and has cash and ambition. Players are temporary but the club should be permanent. Let's hope that's the way it works out , if it does then it will be Adam Pearson and his like that will have effectively allowed the Bulls to live to fight another day.

Maybe the RFL will come in at the last minute and merge you with a team from the North East, tell you your playing at Odsal, your now to be known as the Bradford Bulls, give you dispensation for as many overseas players as you like for a season, and a few extra quid to boot!!!

Not condoning what some of the Hull fans are doing by gloating about picking off your players but as a Giants fan we've had no success in SL so far and have money. The difference is we have someone at the moment who willing to cover the losses and still go out and look for new signings to try and help us win a trophy which Davy is crying out for.
From the outside looking in at the Bulls it seems as you won all those trophys on money you didn't have and all the success you had on and off the pitch has been frittered away. I'd be asking where has all the money gone and how can a relatively successful club be so badly managed and run.

Please dont tar all fans with the same brush, I actually pledged money to Bradford when they needed to raise the 500k.

I feel for the fans not the club but at the end of the day, I bet the players are worried about getting paid. We all have bills to pay and they are no different.

Hull Fc this year have shown that they are willing to pay a transfer fee for players and not small amounts either so if this pays the wages of the playing team and keeps Bradford going then losing a player is a small price to pay, just like when Radford was sold to Bradford.

I am still hoping you survive.
