| I'm not sure I see the benefit of playing Kearney at 6 to be honest. Jeffries will have trained alongside Sammut and as the next in line, he deserves first shot IMO. I expect he'll be wanting to prove he is worth a place in the side after losing out to Gale. He isn't going to lead us to SL glory but on his day he can be the organiser than neither Kearney or Sammut can offer. We know he goes missing sometimes but he's a better option than playing a back rower/ loose forward there IMO.
I wonder how close the call was between Sykes and Platt for centre versus Wigan was, and whether Potter will be tempted to pick Sykes given he can also kick? Although Sammut looked reasonably competent at conversions to be fair to him, perhaps he should also kick for touch off a tee!! Pryce was clearly not well in the Wigan u20's game, so it was hard to judge whether he is ready for SL action.

| it was pretty clear when briggs went that jeffries would be understudy for both half backs, he said he could cover both in a tna article, and so should have the moves sorted as 6 or 7. I will be surprised if he isntsimply slotted in.

| I think a heavy pitch and wet conditions will suite Bradford better. I just think we are short up front especially with the Amor injury. We seem to be playing a more expansive game under Agar which isn’t best suited to heavy conditions but a week of no rain could mean conditions will suite us. I also expect a reaction to Sundays game from the bulls, they showed after the Catalans loss that they will bounce back with a better performance. A bit of coin toss to predict this one. I’ll wait for an accurate weather report before making a prediction.

| The problem is that there is no form to follow for this game.
Wakefield are still a new side with only two games to base an opinion on, but expectations are high because we have recruited some good names.
Bradford are a side with recent dominence but are struggling to sho wthe form they have come to expect.
So in some ways Bradford will be targeting the game as a must win when before it would have been an expect to win. That will give them a lift in motivation that normally helps Wakefield being the usual under dog.
Will be interesting to see how it goes.

| Quote: TFC "Pretty poor that you are worried about beating us. A few seasons ago this was another 2 points in the bag sort of game. I'm not trolling or anything just weird how times change.
I reckon whoever turns up on the day wanting it more will win. Will probably be a scrappy game that will be close for 60 - 70 minutes then one team will open up a 16 point margin in the final quarter.
32-16 to someone.'"
You might be right about the result (time will tell) but I don't understand your problem about it being a close game - wasn't that the original idea behind the move to super league?

If we turn up and play like we did in the 2nd half yesterday we'll undoubtedly lose.
It won't be a quality game for Sky that's for sure
Disagree with that. A close game between two evenly matched teams will always trump (say) the Pies or Wire stuffing someone by sixty points.

Agree with you there but every time we appear to be on Sky, Eddie and Stevo seem to find they have to tell the whole world about how much of a bad game they are watching.
I think there were 3 games on sky last year, where they made numerous points about the lack of quality on show (including the mud bath in France). Personally, I only thought the Crusaders match fell into that category, but they only seem enthusiastic when expressing how poor of a game they are watching!

Disagree with that. Wire stuffing the Pies by 60 would be much better than any close game.

If I can put a Bradford fan's slant on that; Wire stuffing Leeds by 60 certainly would be and the [iBulls[/i stuf......err no, I'd best not go there. Wire achieving that is, sort of, in the ball park of possibilities however........
