Interesting that put the last bit, because he missed one very badly whilst playing for England in the Tri Nations

| Areas I would target would be:
Charnley's defensive positioning (A bit suspect)
Attacking kicks towards Lulia (I'm pretty sure he's taller than both of Wigan's current centre options)
Get the halves/dummy halves running at Lauaki when he's on the pitch. The Wigan defense looked very solid against Leeds, and I'd say Lauaki is probably their weakest of a good bunch.

Looked a little dodgy in the four nations. Kicking straight down his throat is sucidal, but put a bomb up with chasers and he can cme up with a mistake.

This is tactic we must use, particularly if Lulia, Walker and (Pryce) are paying attention.

Here is an interesting stat for you all:
Sunday will be Steve Ganson's first Super League visit to Odsal in just under three years since his controversial handling of the Bradford vs Huddersfield game.
I wonder how Tony Smith feels?
Incidentally Stuart Cummings was kept away from Odsal for a similar amount of time during the early Super League years after his controversial sending off of Graeme Bradley at Knowsley Road during the 42-24 playoff defeat to St Helens in 1998.

| I think the bulls will have to defend there hearts out to make sure they keep wigan out, they are capable of doing it. They will have to watch the run through move which wigan do. Its the same every time, tomkins will either draw the man and give to charnley or will go him self so the bulls need to find a way to stop that.
Also the hookers will have to play fast to get wigan offside because Ive noticed that the quicker you play against wigan the better it is. Huddersfields trys came from quick dummy half play. If huddersfield can do it with not even a full strength team then surely we could give them a run for there money.
COYB!!!

| I wasn't that impressed by Wigan on Saturday, even though they controlled a lacklustre Leeds side pretty well. I reckon if we'd played Saints or Warrington we would have shipped in a lot more points with that sort of performance.
If Bradford can find a way to post points early doors you could push them close. Leeds lacked any real cutting edge in attack, and when they did show something they lacked the composure to build pressure. Wigan's defence is your biggest problem IMO.

With respect.
Leeds are a very strong team with quality all across the field and the reason the didn't look like winning last weekend was because Wigan didn't let them. The ability to make such a strong Leeds team look lacklustre is why Wigan are such a great side and, believe me, I'm not thinking too much about Wigan's defence because, good as it is, it isn't what will beat us on Sunday, after all no matter how strong it is we [iwill[/i get chances to score and we just need to take them; no our biggest worry is their ability to put on points starting from anywhere [ithat[/i is what we need to concentrate on.

But Raynor didn't do anything. Tomkins was play acting IIRC.

With respect? Not patronising at all...
If anything, after Saturday's game your biggest worry is them scoring down the wing Charnley plays on, rather than their ability to put on points from 'anywhere' on the field

I've said before that I don't think that Wigan are that special individually, Tomkins obviously excepted. Wire, Saints, Leeds & Hudds have better teams IMO. What they have done brilliantly is to play to a fantastically coached game plan. I doubted whether Wane would be able to maintain that standard & thought the first game showed that to be the case, but they proved me at least temporarily wrong against Leeds. Leeds positional play in the threequarters was shocking, with 2 second rowers out there. Their attack was also blunted as a consequence. There are definite weaknesses in WIgan's back defence - Charnley, Goulding & Hughes are poor in that regard. Tomkins is not known as a Keith Mumby play-a-like.If you are going to have success it will be in that area. I can't see the ref giving you everything 2 weeks running either.
