| what about tahi reihana? and didn't graham mackay only play one year for us? he would get in above any other winger mentioned so far.
I thought Herbert had a few good games for us but was a bit slow at times getting the ball out. he also became quite predictable with the short flat ball to Elima used regularly. I've no hard feelings against him though, he was a tryer but not quite the player we needed.

| And the lad who signed for us in the first super league season, never played a game. Think he was called Michael Paris or something like that. Aussie school boy (but then so were BJ and Jim Gannon)

Are you serious? Jon Hamer was decent, and he played for more than one season anyway

Maybe I was confusing him with someone else, it's a while back now and I've slept since then. I'll go with the Sculthorpe suggestion in his place though.

| Posted by me on 3rd April, he didn't prove me wrong:
'Hope we got a receipt for Herbert'
Looks an honest lad, but not good enough for mine. We've no link between the forwards and backs, and play stops at him far too often.
When are we going to start using them centre and wing thingies, perhaps Potter could introduce Herbert to them in training!
Would love him to prove me wrong, but I'd go with Briggs next week.
All the best lad, good luck in whatever you do.

Indeed. Then did his cruciate. And then had to be offloaded at very short order, with TV, to squeeze Harris in under the cap.

I said after the Giants game he was pants.
TBH I could see in pre season that he was pedestrian and cluless with the ball in hand.

19829_1320257469.gif Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_19829.gif |
