Torn. If we still had Orford I'd be wetting myself over the signing of Sammut. He's a real livewire, makes stuff happen off the cuff and is exciting to watch.

BUT, we don't have Orford. We need an organiser. Witt is that sort of player for me. Potentially, Witt and Gale/Briggs is an improvement on what we have this year, in my opinion.

Given what we've got now, I'd rather take Witt. Or both.

Yes, having someone that is unpredictable tho a 2 edged sword means the opposition will face the unknown when playing us. two things, the team need to be able to capitalise on his breaks ie support play, and does this mean his position will be scrum half, ie is "Gale moves the team around the pitch" Potterspeak for SO, for Sammut at SH to do something unpredictable in the oppos half? Or are we just trying to win SL next year by signing every scrum half that comes available which you could interpret from Potters comment that he can play 9, 7, 6, or 1? can Jeffries play hooker so we could put out: Sammut 7, Gale 6, Jeffries 9 Sammut 1 and Herbert 13?

so now its down to who is leaving rather than joining for clues as to how the team shapes up next year.
