Generally, a good all round performance, and although Salford had that spell in the second half I never thought the result was in doubt.

Briggs and Jeffries are forming a good partnership in the halves, and I would like to think that the decision to play them both and not bring back Herbert was a positive choice, not something forced by injury. Briggs is getting better week on week, and could have shaded MoM today for me. I hope he is now given an extended run because he has plenty of potential.

I didn't understand why Ah Van was shifted to centre and Sykes brought in on the wing. And Sykes letting in three tries on his wing was evidence - if it was needed - that it would have surely been better the other way around. We've still got Raynor out next week, so I hope Potter will switch that around. On a positive note, I thought Crookes did everything that was asked of him today and totally justified his selection.

The forwards got right on top of the Salford pack, and Burgess and Kopczak brought some real impact - especially Burgess who looked like he was going to run over the top of defenders every
time he took it up.

Surprised we aren't getting more comments about Silverwood. I don't usually join in referee baiting, but I thought he was exceptionally poor today. He gave us nothing in the 50/50 calls, missed several absolutely blatant forward passes (although he may have had no help from the touch judges) and got several knock on calls wrong as well.

was a decent performance all in all and a valuable two points , like someone said earlier there was a few weird selections.... sykes on the wing was a gamble that didnt pay off he wedged in when he didnt need to i thought , whats up with halley? crookes seemed to go alright and has put alot of size on since i saw him last play for us , Tom Burgess is freak of nature i dont know what his mum feeds him he is a giant and hopefully he will kick on as a real crowd pleaser knocking people about! i think we need to get whitehead out of the centre's he has a decent engine on him and works hard in the middle and i think thats a bit wasted on him in the centre appreciate injuries are making him play there at the moment but when all's well and good again i think he is a backrower all day long , donaldson just seems to me like he has it in him to be a different class but for some reason just doesnt seem to be able to turn it on ...... if he doesnt get more game time though i can just see him signing for someone like leeds and turning into the best back rower in the superleague !!! haha always seems to happen like that! but yeah good performance just consistancy is whats needed now i guess

You could see his confidence grow as he realised a big Salford pack held no fears at all. I don't mind admitting I underestimated h after Keighley pre season.

Aye Tom Burgess really made a big impact and some of his drives were superb particularly the one that led to Sykes's try. I also noticed he totally shrugged off a Paleassina attempted big hit and fat Feka was soon withdrawn not to be seen again.

On Silverwood I didn't think he was that bad. A couple of decisions could have gone either way but for the most part he was ok. The only gripe I had was he allowed a much slower PTB and more messing about than Ganson did last week. But asking for consistency is asking for the impossible and we know that!

All season ticket holders are counted in the attendance whether they actually attend the game or not. Given how many season tickets the Bulls sold you could have 5k in the ground and still have a 10k+ official attendance.

Salford brought a few hundred. We have 11k adult season ticket holders. As they announced 12400ish then we must have about 1k junior ticket holders to count as well.

It was a shame Tom couldn't get himself on the score sheet today. He lead from the front along with Bryn and Koppy and punched holes in the Salford defense all afternoon. I felt that Potter utilized his substitutions well today.

It was good to see most of the squad come through the game without picking up any new injuries.

I was worried at kick off of fielding a back line of Sykes, Ah van, Whitehead and Crookes.
It really looked makeshift with 3 of them out of position & 1 that has rarely played 1st team.
Apart from Sykes it seemed to work pretty well. Credit to Whitehead who was asked to play an unaccustomed role and did it well enough.
Best aspect was that some in the team showed that they are still improving.
Kopczak, Burgess, Jeffries, Briggs, Crookes, Royston.
Langley and Elima and L'stange were excellent.

I thought a fairly comfortable 10k but not more than 11k. Hard to judge from pop side but certainly a lot missing from main stand

Poor effort. First thing losing teams fans do is claim they were poor. You were outplayed.

Given that you can barely get a quarter of that, you have hardly got room to be critical
