Big difference McGuire did it to himself while cheating. Also I have never said that all I have ever said was that I have no sympathy because he was cheating at the time. Sam was scoring a try not cheating.

As said during the commentary, only Raynor knows whether he was playing for the ball or trying to hit the player. He knocks the ball our and he's a hero, hits the player and he's a villain.

At high speed with one player diving for the line and the other coming in and diving from the side any mis-judgement is likely to end in disaster. A deliberate head shot? I'm not sure and I don't think the TV replays have the ability to look into the murky depths of someones soul as yet.

I've seen worse tackles where the player on the receiving end has got up and walked away and incidents which look like nothing where someone had been badly injured. I think the fact that Tomkins slid across the deck on his face didn't help Raynors case nor does the fact that it was played over and over in super slow motion.

So one of our best performances of year is a loss. Just the typical luck of a Bradford fan. I don't go away from this game happy but I'll take it. Challenge cup is all about winning.

Season over now, unless this performance becomes the norm. But didn't we say that after both the Leeds efforts and Cas win. I won't be expecting it just yet.

At last some common sense, red card to me always implies intent and really think it was mistimed tackle. Two guys at full pace its easy to make a mistake. Anyway its academic and we should concentrate on a really good performance by Bradford, we need the same commitment for the rest of the season.
