| Quote: Diamond Harry "Well thats just what you want to hear from your coach, not confident about making the 8. He must have no motivation skills whatsoever.'"
Oh come on. If he'd come on and said he WAS confident of making the 8, then you'd be saying he was being unrealistic.

If we up our game we might achieve this score against Wigan next week.

I agree, but I think what Asim's hinting at, not too cryptically, is that the willingness to excuse the McNamara years and the admirable optimism shown by many on here is partly the cause of why we are where we are. I imagine that will continue, although Hood's talk of being prepared to bring in Mason etc, might indicate he does realise it's time for a gamble or two.

| Oh, I saw Asim's hint alright. Don't think it follows though. Maybe if they'd been more patient with Todd's supposed mediocrity they'd still be where he left them, thirty odd places above where they are currently.

Is it not a Bradford problem that we accept third rate everything Council, City Centre, The Odeon the list goes on and on unfortunately. I think it's great we have patience and understanding just maybe too much of both.

Colin Todd left City 3 points above the relegation zone after winning 3 of his last 20 games, before his supposed "stars" were sold before his sacking, the writing was on the wall. The rot set in years before that anyway.
I'm not stretching a point to say I've seen this all before, City fans, and the powers that be, would blame referees (against us because we were a small club for the level we were at, that slowly morphed into being against us because we were a big club for the level we were at), the Football League (who had it in for us because of our admins) and, of course, we've got no money (it's undeniable that money helps, but as City have shown in the last 4 seasons it's not everything). The one difference is that at least those in charge at Odsal have made some investment in infrastructure and the future with the training facilities.
Accept failure and you'll soon get it.

| At the game today and didnt know which Rovers would turn up. The average one did but Jesus it was enough. You are seriously bad. Some of the balls passed had to be taken Goalkeeper style they were that wayward. Made us look decent and im telling you thats not easy.

| We didnt have to play well to win today. The Bulls looked beaten before a ball was passed. I think if we were playing another team today we could easily have been beaten. Everytime we got near the line it seemed like Bradford had already resigned themselves to it been a try.

Unfortunately that appears to be the way of things at the moment
Until that issue can be resolved its hard to see us winning another game

| U all sound how we have felt the last few weeks, u have quite a big pack and didn't use it to ur advantage I thought ah van had a stinker, raynor never stopped trying, credit to all the fans that made the trip bet it was freezing in that north stand, rovers did what they needed to but feel for the bulls fans this season really thought that u could have had a stab at the league this season.

| @mattdiskin: Going to hold back any comment on todays game as it wouldn't be very constructive. Back to the drawing board and step up for the CC

| A Bulls side that's a shadow of previous Bradford squads from a few seasons back. Usually, even after a shocker of a display you can think someone stood out for the opposition but I can't think of anyone for the Bulls today. I'm sure things will come good, but I can't see it being next week against Wigan.

| Another disappointing display with little or no step forwards from the previous weeks. I cannot believe quite how poor some of defending is this year, it's pathetically weak. Hull KR were attacking our line with pretty ordinary plays and we just folded. Obviously Potter must be trying to address this, but we aren't seeing obvious improvements at the moment. To see teams continually putting 30 odd points or more on the board each week against us just isn't good enough.
I don't expect this group of players to be putting in superstar performances but surely some basic RL and a committed defence isn't too much to ask? Very disappointed with this year and right now I just cannot see where the next victory will come from the way we're playing right now. A few players back from injury might help but I fear we might already be too far behind the pack to mount any realistic top 8 challenge.
I hope the club are already in advanced talks with some quality players for next year because some of the gambles haven't paid off.
I must admit the thought did cross my mind that perhaps I could do better things with my £15 than watch Wigan run rings around us next week. I know I'll end up going, but I don't think I'll be queuing for the bar. If we get 4k we'll have done well.
