Out of the three situations I have to disagree with you on at least two...
The play the ball was incorrect, simple as that. you can't blame the referee if our man has failed to get up and playthe ball correctly. He was looking for a penalty and got caught bluffing.
The high tackle was borderline and I would say you have a point with querying that one.
However, the laying on was right. The tackle had been affected and the player failed to move off the man. I have to say that Ganson was right in saying that it wasn't him that determined the speed that a player rolls away from the tackle.
By the fact that he was looking at the referee rather than getting off him shows that he was deliberately slowing the play down.
The rules don't say tackle the player, hold the player down until the ref shouts held and only then get off him.
If you took your rose tinted glasses off you'd realise that EW is the one in the wrong (no matter how much I hate to admit Ganson had a fairly decent game for a change!!!!)
