| Really exciting game today. Everyone played really well in defence (mostly) and attack. Hopefully we can put in a performance like that next week.
Herbert's kicking was poor. He just kicked it anywhere.
Ah Van and Sykes also had pretty good games. Sykes was excellent in defence and Ah Van was the same in attack.
It was tense at the end but luckily we managesd to hold on.

| Quote: Diamond Harry "I thought Herbert was shocking today, especially his kicking. We might aswell of just took 10, rather than him kick for touch. He should have got the ball out more aswell at times. Hopefully he will get better, a new country and recovered from a recent injury he can only get better.'"
His kicking was poor, but there were a few nice touches in attack, and when Briggs is back some pressure will be relieved (for Kearney aswell)

| Tense stuff at the end but defence stood firm. Even with Heath deciding to knock on with 10 seconds left! Thought Sykes was excellent in defence today and Kearney - just awesome.
Thought Cas got found out a bit today, everything good they do seems to go through Chase, shut him down and you keep them quiet.
Not a classic by any means, but I hope we keep that steely defence up. Well done.

He certainly is their go to man, and when they're behind they look to him to create something. We shut him down well though.
Clarke does look an exciting prospect too.

| The first 15-20 minutes we let Rangi Chase do what he wanted, when we closed him down, Cas were abit lost. They are still a very good team though and will upset some of the bigger teams this year.

| I was in the coral stand today, and when Chase scored Lynch was giving the team a right mouth full, his words were '' Get him down and squeeze him to death ''

| I thought Herbert did alright, certainly not "shocking" or "poor" overall. Some of his kicks weren't the best but he also diffused two tough crossfield kicks that could well have saved two Cas scores. We will look more balanced with Kearney linking with Briggs and Herbert.

| Great team performance today! Much improved defence, what a change from last week and nice to see the lads actually walk the walk after talking about needing to improve. There was plenty of cheap talk last season that wasn't backed up on the field but this was much better.
I thought every player played their part but in particular I thought Sykes, Kearney, Ah Van and Platt were good in the backs and in the forwards Scruton and L'Strange really made a big impact off the bench.
I think it's a little unfair to bag Herbert too much for his kicks, many had to be made from his own 40m line under pressure and with Cas having three players back for the kick it's very hard to find space. We had plenty of chances in the 1st half too and had we been more clinical we could've made the game safer.
Great to be in the stadium with such a big passionate crowd and a great following from Cas too. The close finish was hair raising but great entertainment.

I agree if he wasn't an Aussie he'd be dropped next week.

IMO its keep Orr quite and you shut down Castleford.

| Cas lost because they couldnt cope
with Bulls runs from dummy
half. 3 of every 6 at least
punished Cas like that.

Don't know what poetic form that is, but it's way better than haiku!

| Cas lost Danny Orr mid-way through the 2nd half, which obviously didn't help them, but when you look at their squad on paper they are way higher up the league than you would expect.
Michael Platt is quite right to feel annoyed at being overlooked for the England setup when players like Ferres are being called up. The guy is a talentless carthorse and was completely outplayed by Platt today.
