What would be funny, though, is say I set off in my spaceship and go at the speed of light, via a wormhole, returning to earth a few minutes before I set off, I the join myself on the spaceship, we reprise the journey, get off, we than both join me on the spaceship, etc., and so on. You could fill Odsal with Aardvark clones in about a week. Now that would be good.

Then, I could get all my 20,000 clones to give me their wallets, containing say £250 each, for "safekeeping", sneak off on the spaceship myself with the loot (£5m), land 10 minutes before it ever took off, and smash up the warp drive so it could never make the first journey in the first place.

Result.

Firstly, some might suppose that there is nothing more terrifying than the prospect of 19,999 more 'Varks, and so decide to ensure your warp core is ejected just as you enter the wormhole and so you fall out of it miles from anywhere at the arris hole of the universe. Its probably not ALL bad in Hull though.

Secondly, though, the effects of whatever you have been partaking of this afternoon prior to coming up with that scheme are bound to wear off soon. And then you will have forgotten all about it.

There is also the risk of bumping into the mother of all worms down that wormhole...

And anyway, what would be the benefit of cloning a wallet with 4p in it???

I hope when your lot has to make a visa application for one of your players already over here with a valid visa for a different employer that it takes over 3 months for the UKBA to deal with the application.
