| If we set our sights low we won't be disappointed will we?
Now is the rope for you, me or Worrincy?

| Quote: Spannerz "Let's see the Team sheet for the Catalans game and that should give us an idea. Worrincy in the 19 and he's gonna get a new contract after what St Hillaire said about people not performing.'"
Id agree that Worrincy being released is pretty much a given, even if he does play on Sunday, so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. I would drop him (long ago) but, St Hilaire will pick from the available players who he thinks will win the 80 min on Sunday, not who Potter wants to have in his 17 next year. If he doesn't see an alternative in training he might go with Worrincy again....seriously hope not however.
Worrincy is not our main problem though IMHO, we have no half backs. Addy/Menzies/Sykes/L'estrange have done a job and no doubt will continue to try their hardest, but its no coincedence we've only won 1 league game since Orford picked up his injury at the MM weekend IMO.
Obviously the coach/weak backs/etc have not helped, but I put the lack of HB's as the main problem. With a decent pair of half backs or one exceptional one like we got to 4th with, then the forwards look better through better direction and the backs look better through better service.
Orfords return and the signing of a stand off and the resigning of Langley are the rumours I want to hear before any rearranging of our relatively healthly back row options.
I said all through the previous off season that the recruitment started and ended with the halfs for me, and the same will be true this year to a point, starts with the halfs, but probably doesn't end there this time...

Can't disagree with any of that. The worry for me is our inability to develope the creative players. We only seem to be able to produce Forwards, second rowers and centres. And that goes back more than 10 years I think!

| Think the staff at Odsal will regret going into the season with only one proper halfback. It's one thing coping with a lack of bodies on the the wings but playmakers are much more important.
We need more cover there in 2011.

tbf they did recognise this and bring in southernwood at a fairly early stage. maybe one for the future and we would have been better served bringing in someone more experienced but we are where we are. think priority for 2011 has to be a dedicated standoff assuming orford stays.

No-one's forgetting him, he's just not coming despite what he tells Mick in the pub to keep him happy. Mick I hope I'm wrong, but I think Leon's time at Odsal is done and we should all move on...

| Don't read the rumours on the t&a forum, 99% of the time they are not true.
Personally, when you look at who's ooc, I think we'll be retaining Nero.
For next season I could see us lining up like this :
Kearney
Sheriffe/Finnigan (unless someone else ooc comes available)
Platt
Nero
Halley
Sykes
Orford (I believe he will be here)
Lynch
L'Estrange
Scruton
Langley
Hall
Menzies (I pray the rumours that he's off aren't true, if they are, Langley to 13, Whitehead in second row)
Godwin
Paleaasina
Kopzcak/Crossley/Sculthorpe/New prop (all of the first 3 could end up moving on, but on recent showing i'd give Koppy a year more to progress)
Elliott/Olbison/Addy/Donaldson
If Menzies does go, which I really really hope he doesn't, the quota spot needs to be used on a centre imo, although if a 6 became available Sykes may move back into centres.

| heard quite a few rumours concerning bradford, obviously some players are not good enough and needs replacing.your board need to bring in some good quality players to ensure the club nxt year get in the 8 and challenge for the top 4 again or crowds will carry on getting lower and money wise it wont help by having another poor season with 7k crowds.
1.halley
2.w.sharp
3.sykes
4.s.matia
5.k.pryce
6.l.pryce
7.orford
8.scruton
9.l'estrange
10.lynch
11.donaldson
12.whitehead
13.langley
subs
14.feka
15.fielden
16.aspinwall
17.godwin
id let menzies,hall,worrincy,sherrife,reardon,nero all go.
bring in feka, fielden, aspinwall, matia, pryce, pryce and will sharp
i reckon this team could deffo challenge for the top 4 and would see a good season for the bulls.

I reckon we should give Hall a chance in his favoured position before shooting him down, he's only had a couple of games there so far.
