| Two simple words, I wouldnt have thought it stood for well endowed in your case, so you can cross that off your list though.

20201.jpg "I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a triple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union. But I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league." - Graham Lowe (1995):20201.jpg |

| It's an interesting one, because if, as we presumed, Menzies isn't being offered a one year extension to make way for an established player on a 2-3 year contract, the signing of a relative unknown on a one year contract seems odd, if it's to take up the quota spot. I think Menzies for another year would have been the more obvious and safer route, given he's still a stand out and consistent performer in the second row or the centres. So either he's somehow not on the quota or Potter really thinks he's the business and the 1 year contract is just to cover us against another Tupou situation.

Yes it was very wrong.

You dont know our final squad list.
I'll bet you we dont finish in the bottom 4.
And as I said before, W/E.

| Poor signing IMO and is just the type of quota signing the SL doesn't need. Surely a young English back could do as good a job?

Well, I think most people will be happy with the signing of a 22y/o established NRL 1ST grader.
We've already signed two English backs.

| all im saying is that too many big earning players have come in over the last few years and had no success can you imagine how much the likes of some of the players were earning like menzies orford solomona kearney deacon vainakolo newton hall ieysten harris morrison nero thats just some of the names yeah some have had a little success but if you dont win cups you get hardly any money like the big guns, its like salford mate look at the squad compared to the past years to where we had spent a few bob but no success made us skint

| A winger with some size and pace.
He's still young aswell, so hopefully he'll come through at the Bulls and turn into a quality player!

| We've signed two young, hungry wingers who both have something to prove to the RL world. 1 year deals (which probably have some room in there to pick them up for a further year based on performance) will hopefully be a good motivator

He's another NRL reject nobody in a position where an English player could do just as good a job. He's played once this year and has a try scoring record of 1 in every 3 and a half games. Just the type of quota we don't need and at the expense of Steve Menzies too?

Shontayne Hape was in a similar position when he came over, we shoulodn't have signed him right? As he'd never have turned into a good player.
And obviously you know alot better than Mick Potter, why didn't you apply for the job as our head coach, as i'm sure we'd have Inglis and Slater on our books now to work with one of the most talented RL coaches of his generation.
And menzies is 37, this guys 22, which one is more likely to improve?

It's not about improving though is it? If this player ever becomes anywhere near the quality of player Steve Menzies is then you're onto a good one. Menzies has been your best player this year.
How much do you think Mick Potter knows about him? He can only have seen him play NRL once this year at most and anymore than that would have to be in the reserve grade. Hape was different, he'd just had a season-long injury and was a big risk for any team to sign (obviously it payed off for you).
ATEOTD, he's been signed on a one-year deal which to me sums up your clubs faith in him.
