I have to say that Luke Burgess was the first name that sprung into my head. No idea why though!

leeds may want to give pitts and amor some gametime and burgess is supposed to want out to go to nrl at end of season, so their might be some mileage in them loaning him out and then having a decent look at those 2 before end of season to see if they need to sign someone else. Just cant see Leeds helpings bulls out in shape or form.

It's interesting to see Matt James mentioned, I thought about him earlier for a potential loanee. If we get a prop then it's going to be Hall to the second row I guess? But with Langley (supposedly back) in a couple of weeks then Hall will probably be a bench second row.

What about a half back? Orford still not fit & worryingly quiet on the BK front!!

Orford is getting there though and given we have Menzies, Addy, Stranger and Southernwood to cover then I think it would be more useful to get a winger or a prop.

Menzies is shifting between centre & back row so if he is covering halfs aswell we are getting short of numbers, Addy ok on bench at moment covering as needed but not sure he is ready to control game at half back, Stranger proved in last frew weeks we need him at hooker, no where else & general opinion with Southernwood seems to be saying not quite ready

Menzies only played centre because Reardon was out, he's back now and after Wardle's 30 minutes I think he could last a whole game there if needed.

I reckon it will be a prop we get, but anyone who will improve the team will be fine.

Agreed, if he can kick goals, control the game, take us forward, and convince the board to sign up beaver for next year he will do for me!! The icing on the cake would be if was also NRL proven but non quota counting!! We can hope!!

I got the impression from the article that we had a player in mind, be interesting to see who it is. I'd take Burgess if Leeds want rid, not anywhere near Sam's level but he's a decent SL level Prop who would strengthen us at this moment in time. I doubt Leeds would be particularly keen to help us out though! So it seems a little unlikely!
