| There is usually about a dozen or so Leeds shirts in the away end when Catalans come to Odsal. I'm sure they are enjoying watching the Bulls
We returned the favour last year in the playoffs because there were a lot of Bulls fans at the away end at Headingley for the Catalans game.

| This is one of the great traditions of RL. The annual pilgrimage - initially only to Wembley - but now to Old Trafford as well, for thousands of neutral supporters. There is no way of knowing exact numbers of individual clubs.

| Is Sunday a "big game" yet then? Hang on.....how does it work? It's a big game until they lose, then it suddenly becomes a pre-season friendly...

Most of the ones in Catalans shirts are Leeds fans too.

| The British game gains nothing from this fixture so I'm quite comfortable in supporting Melbourne all the way.

El Presidente agrees with you, on the first bit of what you said anyway
“It’s effectively Leeds Rhinos’ game on Sunday but it needs to be more representative of Super League.

as adeybull pointed out on another thread, theres no incentive for the 2nd and 3rd placed teams to take part if they have no chance of winning the title. The only team to benefit from 2nd and 3rd taking part would be the SL champions, because the 2 teams most likely to be the main challengers for their title would also suffer the same fixture congestion at the beginning of the season.

| The thing is, the wcc is NOT Australia vs England. It's club vs club. If it was an England team then Leeds would have to take the field without the likes of Webb, Lauititi, Eastwood, Donald, Delaney and Buderes. But they don't as it's a club game. And it's a club game then club loyalties still stand. We are still Bradford and there is nothing you can say that will make us cheer for Leeds
