| Well given Manly have become our feeder club it'd make a certain amount of sense and there's the obvious attraction of three of your former team mates making the transition a lot easier.
In my view he's just the type of signing we should be after, a talented kiwi who runs hard, has some pace and can defend.

| More of our players should be 'raw-boned'. It sounds good but what does it actually mean?

In Rugby League it means big and strong. Everywhere else it means emaciated.

Does he have a dodgy shoulder? Most games I've seen him in (not many admittedly) he is struggling with the shoulder after putting a hit on somebody.

I think he's had problems with his shoulder and wrist in the past, can't say he looked too uncomfortable against the Aussies last weekend though. However given he's in his mid-20s and a regular in the NRL you'd expect him to have had some injury problems. Wasn't so long ago that Sam Burgess was having his shoulder operated on.

Would be an excllent signing. Pricey for you though..
What type of centre is he? Not noticed myself. Looks like a bit of a big hitter (hence the injuries) Is he try scorer or more of a wingers centre?

Aggressive is probably the best way to describe him! I'd be even more chuffed if we signed him! Seems a tad unlikely though!

19829_1320257469.gif Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_19829.gif |

19862_1323383936.jpg This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. [color=#80BF40:1y1okols]Neil is Cabbageman[/color:1y1okols]. Ever alert for the call no injury too small!

True . Guess as FC fans and seeing how 2 of our marque signings where left high and dry and one never made it means we are more sceptical of immigration officials. All we heard last year was how Crocker and Hame where not too concerned. How have your club approached it this year I know FC have got specialists in doing all the paper work for this years signings which has luckily meant Fitzgibbon got his visa today

| If I worked for the RFL I'd be more interested in Hicks' visa being declined. [Hicks'] visa application for a further 12 months was refused on the grounds of insufficient funds to support the application despite proof of his contract extension.
Perhaps it's just me being suspicious, but the questions over Wire's magic salary cap seem to be being asked here in bright red letters

reading that report it seems like a straightforward cockup in the paperwork, rather than a rejection due to criminal charges/bad behaviour, as such while there might be a delay while amended paperwork is submitted I'd be surprised if it isnt resolved pretty quickly.
As others have said the hicks one is strange one - may point towards something a bit iffy going on financially
