Was that the lad in the pink t-shirt? He was a Hull KR fan and got himself ejected...funny to watch though.

For me those games were the key. I would also add Hull KR and Wakey away as games that we should, rather than could, have won. But I dont put it down to lack of effort or desire. It seemed to me that the basic problem was that, although we were dominating games, we tended to cave in when the opposition had the inevitable good spell. The games at Salford & HKR were prime examples of where we seemed to lose all self belief once the opposition scored.

I agree about losing the self belief at times this year but I also think that in some matches we lacked the amount of desire and effort to win that we have shown recently.

No, he was to my left. This young lad was at the front....with his elderly relative (no offence)

It seems that this is just the norm at Hull. Every time I go, and last night was no exception, you see numerous idiots in chav corner pointing to people and offering them outside. And every single time, the stewards just stand there and watch them. At any other ground, that would get you thrown out for threatening behaviour, but it just seems like Hull are fine with it.

Certainly does nothing to enhance the reputation of the Hull club. Nothing changes each year so it seems the management are happy to let this continue.

Dunno who you are mate, but come home safe and in one piece.
The funniest bit was at the end when the Bulls players thought they had made the play offs!

Hull don't control or pay for the stewarding, that's all run by the stadium management. And if all they're doing is standing up and being chavs surely you can jut ignore them and watch the game? the less attention they get the less they do it.

No. They aren't just "standing up and being chavs", they're exhibiting threatening behaviour towards opposition fans, who then end up doing the same back. This is the very start of any trouble and they should be thrown out for doing it (as should anyone doing it back to them by the way). Being pointed at and then pointed outside is threatening and should not just "be ignored".

I must admit, I reacted and gave them a few V signs and a bit of verbals but you are right, it is not 'just being chavs' it can be intimidating for some ...not me though, I'd have 'em

| For me it goes beyond the point of being easy to ignore when you get grown men gesticulating and shouting abuse at young kids like several morons did in the direction of my eight year old son and his two similar-aged school friends when they cheered a couple of Bulls' scores. Is this really in keeping with the idea of RL being a family game?
A bit of banter is great but I have seen more intelligence in a fish pond than was on display in certain bits of the East Stand last night.
I had to chuckle when I spoke to a steward on my way out and made a point of commenting on how delightful some of the home fans were. He shrugged his shoulders in a resigned way and said simply said 'Good luck outside.' Nice touch I thought and demonstrates how un-bothered they are.

| Hull Fans have always been the same, a small section of nobodies and a large section good people and responsible RL fans. I just wind the Chav corner up and laugh at them when they are telling you what they are going to do from a sperated section of the ground 30 yards away. They are just wannabe warriors that don't have the guts to do it from anywhere else.
They are a bit like those keyboard warriors that like to tell you how hard they are and are going to smash you from behind the safety of their computer screen but don't have the guts to turn up in the real world.
Both are nobodies and total sad acts.

| In fairness, let's not forget that our club also has a group of s attending games. Although nowhere near as bad as the Hull lot, that ginger chav and his mates shouldn't even be attending our games (they were near the drummer in the North stand).
I thought the chants of 'hit em hard, em up' was unnecessary especially with the young kids around.
