I think there really is a case for this. Look at the union clubs getting thrown out of the cup for fielding ineligible player(s).

The Guardian says it appears the players were playing under working holiday or student visas in the years 2006-2008. The 2009 visas were probably correct but based on the previous years.

The 6 players were with the club in the two years prior to entering SL. After all the time it took to pass the clubs visas at the beginning of this season I wonder why it has taken so long to come to light.
I can't see the Bulls lowering themselves to claim the two points, it would make them a laughing stock. Incidently we can't speak from the moral ground, I recall us signing Morley for the 2005 SL finals, and the following season we were shown to have gone over the salary cap.

The problem I have is with the RFL and I think the best thing would be to re-establish themselves now in NL1 with the same qouta and cap restrictions as everyone else and let them grow organically as they should have been allowed to in the first place.

I can understand what you mean. However I do think Macbull has a good point that maybe Celtic should have been given a bit more time before putting them in Super League. There seems to be a huge push at the moment in the Co-Op Leagues to try and make sure teams are financially set and run well above all else. Celtic could have done with some of that I feel.
