| Not utterly pointless. I honestly thought the season was mathematically over until it appeared. Now we know it lives on (limps on), till Sunday at least.

| Quote: sirlesboyd "To be honest I'm a bit concerned that we will actually miss out on the top 8 this season.
Tough game at Wigan this Friday,
Wakey at home the week before the final - the only time we've managed to beat Saints since 1996 was when we played them the week before the CC final and they took the eye of the ball. I think we may just do the same
Hull KR away the week after - the celebrations probably wont actually finish until the Thursday night
Quins at home to finish.
Being realistic we are looking at 2 wins out of 4 - not convinced that will be enough to see us into the top 8.
BUT
This season, would I swap a Wembley Cup Final for a place in the top 8 play offs - what do you think ??'"

| I tried to find some yesterday. Skybet didn't have any. Paddy power had some teams but none of the bottom four. Odds checker said that bet360 had us for 250/1 to get into the eight. I didn't bet then but I might put a quid on

The same logic that thinks we're going to win all 4 of our remaining games I think.

We agree, hence the title of the thread. Bad attempt, but nice try.

| i dont think Wire are looking into the two upcoming superleague matches as there are a few players 'injured'. It looks to be a wigan win tomorrow with the pies full of revenge and a young team out for the wire, so that result should go your way. Good look. hope you can get into the playoffs, it won't be the same without bradford in !

Yeah, it looks like Hudds aren`t taking the cup as seriously as Wire (let`s hope someone from the Galpharm reads this and takes the appropriate action, like having a few `injuries` for Sunday) so it`ll probably be Wire to win the cup and Hudds to make up the numbers in the play-offs.
Much better to go for the final you`re already in than to start again going through the rounds isn`t it chaps

| Difference between Hudds and wire is Hudds have had superb squad rotation all season and even if they did rest 4 or 5 players on Sunday, they would be replaced by players of equal caliber

| I think it would be better all round if we missed the play offs, which I'm sure we will.
It would be a fair reflection of this season and our inconsistency throughout the year, and leave the players and club as a whole hurting, and hopefully a deep felt desire to start to put things right on and off the field.

Other, of course, than those who won't be here next year?

| After tonight's results, the requirements have of course changed.
After their win tonight, we can't catch Wigan. Also relevant was Cas and Wire failing to win.
New requirements:
Quote: DILLIGAF "
1) If Bulls lose one single game, they can't make the playoffs.
2) If the Bulls win all their games then it will down to other teams games. What other teams need to do to avoid being caught by us:
