| A thing I'm looking for this year is to see us improve around the ruck. In attack we need to take the ball up with more purpose so we can get a quick ptb. Players need to work on getting the right body position so they don't get turned over.
In defence we need to get bodies in the takle and prevent the opposition doing the above to us.
This area's been a problem for some time against Hudders it was more apparent than ever.

| If noble came back i would pretty much burn my season ticket - Keep Macca, get shut of Platt & Newton, Platt is generally a nightmare and Newton has totally hit the wall, slow and boring

The same Macca that recently rewarded Platt with a new three year deal you mean?

| With few exceptions, you can never really go back. Besides which, other than "it's a job" why would Nobby want to return to Odsal? There is more to the guy than that . . . . . surely?
He did everything that could be done in the game last time. Returning would only, regardless of the way the current squad may be playing, be seen as failure/not doing as well. Not something someone like Nobby would like on his CV.

| We could do no worse than pulling out all the stops to persuade Brian McDermott to come back to Bradford.
Long association with the club and he's doing a very good job with limited resources at Quins.

I'd quite like to see Big Mac back. Even if he did cross over to the dark side for a bit.

If we had their results and recruitment, people on here would be spitting chips. After all, limited resources are just excuses, aren't they?

| Some major dummy spitting on here. Two games in, one draw and one loss (by a small margin) and everyone is on McNamara's back.
You'd be forgiven for thinking this is the Warrington MB - a team who have spent big, never achieved in SL and are staring down the barrel of 3 straight defeats - none of which have been close and the last one against arguably inferior opposition conceding 48 points!
I know McNamara's got his problems and personally I don't rate him much as a coach but surely you have to give him more time given the disjointed start to the season.

Maybe tons of coaches but it is about the team.
Take us (Wigan) we have a good coach in Nobby who since he has left Bradford won nothing because you had a good team

but people were saying exactly the same when I raised the issue at the start of last season and we are worse off now when we were then.
Where exactly do you draw a line in the sand?

If McNamara was going to be sacked, it should have been done at the end of last season. Getting rid now would certainly be premature having only played two games and with the new faces needing time to gel.
After five games if the Bulls don't have a win it would be permissable to let McNamara go, but only in the case of there being no hope for improvement (i.e. big losses as opposed to narrow defeats). I don't know what precise conditions need to be met for him to go but Bradford aren't there ...yet.
