Precisely. The club need to be trying to get people to renew season tickets for next year, as those fans are likely to be the more loyal. Angering season ticket holders really wouldn't be a good idea.

As a season ticket holder it wouldn't particularly anger me if it was done to encourage people back. Maybe the club could do some sort of buy one ticket and get another free deal for the Catalan/Harlequins game. Or allow every season ticket holder to claim a voucher for free entry for an adult.. anything to try and boost numbers.

Whether this is financially viable I don't know, but our crowds are going to be dire for the next 3 home games. We need to try and sell some of the exciting young players like Donaldson to these fans so they at least consider giving the club another chance next season.

They definitely do need to do something if they want more than 7,000 for any of the remaining home games.

I just think every time they give away "free" games, they devalue the season ticket. There's not much point selling a season ticket by saying "you get 3 games free, but then again so will other people because of offers through the season".

History has shown that any free game or bogof offers have angered a large amount of season ticket holders.

It's one of those "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations unfortunately.

I would agree the best option would be season ticket holders get to bring a friend for free, or something along those lines. That way you're placating both groups.

Although since the club probably can't afford to do that, it's kind of irrelevant.

the games left are now like preseason friendlies- nothing to play for i think that under 35s shoulde be let in free otherwise will start watching leeds instead

Doesn't matter what they spend in ground (unless it's in the shop) because the vendors pay a pitch price. (If i am not mistaken)
