Yesterday I was debating our 1st team stand off position with someone and they suggested we play Joe Wardle, from what I saw today I wouldn't be tempted to, although I have only seen this one game and will wait until I see further more. He has got a grand boot on him, but he gave a few sloppy passes out, but not quite as many as his half back partner Liam Kay, who I wasn't impressed at all by.
Not a patch on stand off at Castleford academy Ryan Brierley this lad is gonna be a star only just 17

Joe Westerman was going to be a star as well. Nailed on, apparently.
I haven't seen Brierly and have only seen Wardle once, so i'll hold off making any comparisons. |

It would have been much more beneficial to play Joe Wardle in the reserves and bring in another stand off for the 18's Billy Cooper at Queensbury or Joe Walker at Dudley Hill would have been good choices. |
