also, can anyone find any link to the original press association sport story where this supposedly originated? Not just the re-reporting and reading of twitter that passes for journalism these days. Its not on any of the PA media feeds that I can find?

there has always been a level of there is something going on behind the scenes that we don't know why is it any different other than a snapshot has come out and it has potential positives for a change.
I am more interested in the timing - this could have been fascinating prior to the forum as a leak, so not convinced it is purely to undermine AC. I am more inclined to believe the rumours of input all along but now need to formalise things before fan base goes entirely.
Could this be the Dr playing the media to ensure interest does not wane entirely before he performs some takeover ?

could this be a hey season tickets are on sale - ( look we dont need these big money men but all of a sudden there is interest) if there are rumours of four offers that suggest potential - i presume one would be lamb not offering much but putting in an offer as has been mooted. the Dr becoming involved..? suddenly 3000 tickets seems a little less pie in the sky with fans considering optimism could be on the horizon.

Happens every year without fail within a day or two of us launching season tickets ( or in this case just announcing that we're going to launch them next month.) Seems fairly obvious that it would be lowes share of club that could be potentially for sale, which would be understandable given his ill health and inability to even travel to the uk. But of course the spin is that its chalmers wanting out.

Wouldnt be too surprised if it was pre-planned as a way of Koukash getting control of two clubs via the back door and RFL have blocked it hence the story being leaked to press ( with a bit of spin that koukash turned us down). Would also explain why club have rebuffed other potential investors if they already have a preferred investor linedup.

Greg's normally a bit more rational but recently has been a bit downbeat and is so quick to drop a negative comment in. Like the whole Hybrid part time full time thing doesn't work it cant be done - then someone suggest we could be first to try it and now Halifax do it?
