As for mentioning Olbison and not mentioning O'Brien maybe it is just a case of a player who broke through last year and worked really hard as opposed to a player who is still on fringes -so maybe it is early to talk him up and suggest building a team around a player who has not played many games?

It's probably fair to assume that Bateman has turned his back on some offers that would give him a much greater chance of silverware. He's committed himself to the club for the next 3 years but if we want to see his best years of RL we need the people of Bradford to get behind the club. Perhaps preaching to the converted on here but he won't wait around forever to see this club back on it's feet.

Really pleasing news though and I look forward to seeing him develop alongside the likes of Whitehead over the next few years.
