Gale and Carvell

Does mention gales in talks with hull at end of article. Thing that strikes me as strange as if he's tuped across to new company and we want to keep him, as suggested by us offering him an extension, then why are we letting him talk to hull?. Surely we could just report them for tapping up and gales got nothing to decide. Tends to suggest he hasn't accepted transfer and is seeing who offers best deal.

Sounds like Carvell has definitely thrown his toys out of the pram. So we won't be seeing him now. Just waiting to see how much money we get for him. And Gale too? Marvellous. Hull must have borrowed Wire's expanding magic cap.

We are releasing players (big earners) to a sign these two plus Mason.

Understand the signing of Carvell (which is done), but not convinced by Gale, I haven't seen anything of him to suggest he is better than we already have.

But surely if players are released they still need to be paid off unless they have signed for somebody else and everyone's happy.In McDonnells case isn't he coming back from a long injury,which I would of thought he hasn't signed for somebody else

I think I agree with what everyone else has said Carvell big loss but Gale I wouldn't be fussed going tbh, I don't get why Bulls fans are surprised that players are leaving us, didn't the board say that they were prepared for players leaving during the season ?

Which Wakefield players have we taken in the week building into the season?

I guess you could be talking about the ones signed in October for a few quid though?

regardless of when you signed them or paid for them, they were still under contract, same thing!

As far as I know, if you release a player before he has played a game in the season, it doesn't count on the cap.
