Good for them, with their help football has struggled on.

| I didn't agree with Bradford losing half the Sky money, I felt it was hampering the club for a sustained period. But other clubs have slipped off the top flight radar as a result of directors mismanagement and I don't see why Bradford are a special case.
When supporters made snide comments about a well run club such as Featherstone struggling in Super League on gates of 2500, it doesn't reflect well on Bradford as a whole.
Failing a rich benefactor take your medicine if necessary field a team on a shoe string this year, spend as little as possible and regroup next year where in the Championship you will be one of the two best Sky funded teams.
If you cannot be competitive on the pitch take your medicine.
That said, good luck and hope something works out for you.

| Quote: Adeybull "Let's cut to the chase, shall we?
The Sky monies confiscation - a sanction no other club committing an act of insolvency has ever had to face - has destroyed any realistic chance of anyone but a multi-millionaire saving this club.
I hope those responsible are happy with what they have done.
I am sick and tired of supporters of certain other clubs coming on here and lecturing us about cutting our cloth according to our yard, when our yard was and is very considerably shorter than theirs.'"
Well if it was smaller you just need to cut the cloth until it fits in the yard.

| Hopefully the Administrator will make player redundancies / cut player salaries to no more than £30k so that Mr Lamb gets a sustainable business when he buys the Club for whatever the Administrator's fees are (£30k?)
Then hopefully Mr Lamb will restore the Bradford Northern name.

| He can't though can he wooden spoon as player contracts a protected you dunce.
That's why this garbage about the players not being paid is a lie.
The moment that happens will be when the club is liquidated. Fingers crossed there are funds etc in the pot to put the game on Sunday.
Then it's up to someone to buy them before the business is wound up. Just like last time. For me personally though the near enough 700 quid I stuck in to various things isn't possible this time around due to personal circumstances. I just hope there is enough good will out there to keep things goingZ
It doesn't help though when you are up against armchair experts that know all, complete liars and vindictive small minded s constantly chipping away at public confidence in a club.

| With all this fiasco,im not really sure who the players are employed by,although i understand all the players have been called in tomorrow morning for a meeting and that next wages will be paid by the RFL.
Just out of interest will Luke Gales contract extension be honoured now the club is back with the administrator?

| Can I just say to all the people gaining such satisfaction fron our plight; at the end of the day when we go under your life won't be any better, your club won't be any better. You just don't realise it yet.

| I am disappointed in the RFL. Nisi utile est quod facimus stulta est gloriae. ("If what we do is not useful, it is stupid to boast about it."icon_wink.gif) They can stand out red faced poor men.
It is not a time for illusions as far as I am concerned, just reflection on the positives and moving forward. If we do go into the championship I can see a good deal of benefit from that. It would give us space to recover naturally financially and build for a healthy future.

| Rimmer is calling Moore a liar. Moore ought call him on it.
In July 2011 the RFL gave the Bradford Bulls a B license "solid submission detailing a strategy, tactical plan and targets to achieve improved commercial and financial performance. The club has a solid fan base, a strong brand and good operating structure/governance in place"
In January 2012, the RFL and the Bradford Bulls announced that RFL had bought Odsal in order to 'safeguard the stadium's future', despite the fact that the stadium was pwned by BMDC and was under no discernible threat.
In March 2012, the Bradford Bulls launch the Quest for Survival aiming to raise £500k or it will play its last game against Leeds on Good Friday. It transpires that the club have only received half the money from the sale of the lease to the RFL because it had already borrowed £700k in September or October 2011 from the RFL and had not made one payment.
In spite of this, the club's license was not re-considered and the club were not placed in 'special measures'. In actual fact they continued to sign players throughout the period with the RFL knowing the club were almost certainly insolvent.
Despite the raising of £500k by the fans, the club entered administration in Jun 2012. The RFL stated categorically they would only accept unconditional offers and on this basis the owner of Akbars withdrew on the grounds that he was being asked to buy something without being told whether the club had a Super league license or not.
With the club 24 hours away from liquidation Omar Khan bought the club and apparently agreed to receive 50% of the Sky money as the clubs were outraged that the RFL had lent the board headed by Peter Hood £700k and bought the lease on the ground on a false premise.
In the intervening period the club has lost a large amount of money, despite the decimation of the squad and the sale of Bateman and Whitehead.
Not only this, but the 50% Sky allocation means the club will certainly lose further money this year. Yet Rimmer states Moore and co are seeking to buy the club with its own money. There's a reason for that Mr Rimmer. A combination of the actions of Mr Hood and the RFL mean the club isn't worth anything. In fact worse, anyone who buys the Bulls whether taking on creditors or not is going to lose their shirt.
The plight now faced by the Bradford Bulls is a direct consequence of the RFL lending money to a board of directors who by that stage had clearly failed.
Why was the club not put in 'special measures' immediately the RFL found out the club was in financial difficulty? Instead they actually kept it secret and the matter was only revealed months later when the clubs financial position was publicly revealed.
It's all well and good Rimmer blaming Moore, but in effect he is saying independent people, who are in no way to blame for the disaster at Odsal, should bail out a club to whom the RFL gave a Grade B license and did not raise a single concern despite knowing that the club were losing huge amounts of money in 2011.
They are now acting to safeguard the integrity of the competition but where were they in late 2011, early 2012. They were lending money they knew couldn't be repaid and telling blatant lies about the purchase of Odsal Stadium.
Now, in a season of relegation, the club are to recieve 50% Sky money, a 6 point deduction and placed in special measure in order that the new owners cannot sign players.
Rimmer, Wood and Solly should be asked to take some responsibility for this wanton destruction of a once proud club and should be made to resign.

| Spot on M@islebugs!
These and previous owners may well be muppets...or may not be
The only ones that really suffer are the fans and the players (and the game too), yet none of these have a say in who has been allowed to be in charge. The only ones who have constantly throughout this are the RFL.
At at time when a live, policed salary cap was in place, Bulls financials under scrutiny, the RFL allow all this and the above in your post, on their watch.
They may well have 'tried' to help, but they do seem to have just made things worse. What happens in most organisations when that happens? Byebye...
They sign SL up to a long term Sky deal without their knowledge, just after Premier Sports have treated us all to quality passionate commentators..
The re-sign a coach who has just failed at the world cup (great semi final, thanks Sam Burgess, but we were poor generally)
They allow the hemorrhaging of star players with no comment.. the quality of Super League is dropping, our game is under huge threat, yet as long as Nige gets his business class flights to Aus, all is well...
The muppets in charge over various times may well have been the root cause, but the only people with any power over them have failed miserably.
We, and the players, stand in solidarity as being failed by the powers that be.

| So what are the chances of the other clubs standing up at the meeting today and asking the RFL to give us our money back?
