I'll throw two other out there for you to think about:
St Helens (if Beaumont does push the boat out they may ditch DR as they did during 2015/16)
Toronto (assuming they get promotion, with no reserves they will have to run with a slightly bigger squad which makes DR viable for them and you had a DR arrangement with them last year IIRC)

| I really do not like dual reg system but I guess we've seen that our pockets aren't deep enough to compete with teams above who are using it to their advantage. As long as the spine of our side is contracted to the Bulls then 1 or 2 when Kear feels they can improve us then I can get over it.
So yes, it's disappointing but we might as well try and level the playing field in our favour. Cas would seem the most logic choice or possibly Toronto.

True enough, but didn't someone on the other thread say that we were going to announce the DR partner when it was clear they wouldn't be relegated? That rules out Cas I think. Wakey, HKR (As if...), London or Hudds as I see it.

Plus don't Cas already have an arrangement with Fax?.

Yeah but it's part of the deal that takes Keyes to Fax. In return we get to enter into a DR with Cas, plus a chocolate orange and a sixpence.

What Chalmers [iactually[/i said was
Quote: Bulliac "We will hold off making a formal announcement until after the 2019 season has been concluded.'"
The relegation bit was simply an assumption, based on...well... nothing at all (which makes it a 'fact' on the Internet of course )

Might he have been a useful signing given he is an experienced Championship player who can cover both 6 & 7. With Wildie apparently off to Leigh, we’ve lost some cover at halfback.'"
Hunslet I believe

Well, the relegation bit was just an obvious extension (which he clearly didn't particularly want to highlight, of course..) to what was actually said, so I wouldn't cavil at it, tbh.

Shame. I think he'd do us a good job for a season. He knows Kear and how he likes to play as well as give us another experienced head in the team because I feel we've lacked experience for a number of seasons and it's cost us

| Ok, so it looks like the squad for next year will be
1 Brandon Pickersgill
2 David Foggin-Johnston
3 Jake Webster
4
5 Jy Hitchcox
6 Joe Keyes
7 Jordan Lilley
8
9 Thomas Doyle
10 Steve Crossley
11 Connor Farrell
12 Matty Storton
13 Elliot Minchella
14 Evan Hodgson
15 Rowan Milnes
16. Joe Brown
So we're light in the forwards, especially at prop and we need a bit more experience at hooker. We also need some quality for the wing/centres. Certainly a centre on the other side of the field who can match Webster's contributions would be a big plus. Also, as Chalmers has said we're looking to sign 9 players, I'd assume it's this 9 who've played for the team this year but have yet to be announced as leaving
Liam Kirk
Mikey Wood
Ross Peltier
Sam Hallas
George Flanagan
Dalton Grant
George Milton
Ross Oakes
Rhys Evans
They'd help flesh out the side and give us a bit of competition for places. I'd be happier with a couple of new faces coming in, but it seems the RFL's plan to screw over our recruitment for 2020 has paid off for them and beggars can't be choosers and we'll have to make do with what we can get. Hopefully the DR partnership will prove to be a benefit - I'd prefer an established SL side to partner with.
