| Quote: bringbackjimmy "Absolute shambles of a game today. Had Sheffield been even slightly on form, we would have had even more put past us. As it was, they didn't need to show anything much to make us look like complete amateurs. Our final play of the set is totally uninspiring, with little imagination in the kicking; our players are being busted by enthusiastic opposition attackers ( Caro pushed out of the way like a 10 year old for example ); errors all round, leading to break down of attacking plays; one man forward driven rugby rumbling up the middle as per the past 5 games; and an all round impression of complete lack of enthusiasm.
All this with SOME of our injured players back. What's worrying is that I can't see the situation improving any with the others fully fit.
Something's clearly wrong with this team, as they have added to their playing compliment since last season, but they are just not playing as a cohesive team with a winning mentality. Subsequently, we're making other teams look much better than they are. I really don't subscribe to the notion that teams in this division have improved immeasurably ( with respect to both full time and part time teams ) to the extent that they're able to roll us over with apparent little problem.
Positives ? I find very little to be upbeat about when watching the team. Even the crowd were very quiet today, and only the Sheffield supporters made any atmosphere at all.
Supporting this team is now beginning to become a chore, and i'm a die-hard fan of over 20 years.'"
Is not all this your fault bringbackjimmy? You seem to have got what you wished for.

| I still can't believe what I witnessed - everything going fine until the Purtell pass - and the whole deflated quicker than a pricked balloon.
I know it was a bit of a daft pass, but better (ok then...'actual') half backs than him have had that happen to him, and it didn't necessarily result in total collapse of self-belief.
From that point forward it seemed inevitable we would lose - the confidence drained from us, and the confidence surged into Sheffield. Remember - they were on a bad losing streak, not that you'd know it from the last 60 minutes today.

| I thought Keith Senior had a great impact off the bench for Sheffield today.

| Quote: woolly07 "I have just emailed the hygiene department at Bradford Council warning them of an expected breach of hygiene laws in the local Coop window due to the Bulls losing to Sheffield today.
We should all demand a picture as evidence from a certain Bulls supporter to prove he has done what he said he would do if we lost. I also believe this supporter should put his son up for immediate adoption as punishment for a certain act he carried out (very professionally I should say) today at Odsal resulting in four points being added to the Sheffield score.'"
Haha I'm guessing that's me. I'll go change my Y fronts.
All seriousness how bad was that. We all know we have no idea on attack, 5 drives and a kick. It worked in the 2nd half for once so we try it to the other wing and there winger catches it and goes the length of the field. We have no other plan

He did spend an inordinately large amount of time on the pitch.
Or maybe I just notice his bald pate and gormless look more than every other pitch-interloper.

Looked like a man on the edge!!
Had his finger about an inch from Thaler's face as they entered the tunnel and I don't think what he was saying was check out my finger!!'"
I watched a security guard go over to Thaler at HT. He was 6'5 and wearing a high viz vest. He said something to him, and they both had a laugh. I watched them walk up the tunnel together. I was specifically watching cos I thought it was odd he'd be talking to a security guard at that moment anyway. I presumed at the time he'd jokingly asked him if he needed an escort whilst going.
Were you on the Pop' side? I was, and I not only saw that but pointed it out to the person I was stood with and speculated with him about what had happened there.
I did see Ferres patrolling the speedway track on that side at some point in one of those long-ish black Bulls padded coats. You sure it wasn't the touchy he was having a go at?

Yes he does seem to spend a lot of time on the pitch, but he did that in their last 2 games at Fev and Dewsbury which they lost so not an obvious advantage. If the officials don't say owt who's to blame. I think we have more worries than that

| I thought it was quite funny tbh. And so did he when he could pick out individual voices in the crowd calling him a w@nker. He was laughing his head off.

The more he talked of his honour, the faster we counted our spoons.: |

| The same set of players, doing the same things week after week , but expecting a different result?
Rock Bottom imo.
Who bought, authorised, the players that have come to Odsal over the last two seasons(Ferres?)?Half of them didn't even play did they.So right from the outset,it has been a shambles of the highest order.
Ferres/Jimmy should be shown the door as the results are just not acceptable. That's a gimme.
Who takes over?It has to be someone who can man manage this lot and try to get the best out of them and has a scrum half hidden in his pocket.
What's Brian Smith doing right now?Or someone of his ilk, because if we just make do it will be the death knell of this once great club imo.
The fans who have continued to pay at the gate deserve a medal and certainly deserve much much better.

No need to speak about Chev Walker like that ...

| Awful again. If Lowes remains for much longer you can kiss goodbye to a lot of walk up support, the opinion on the terraces isn't good. I've just about had my fill of substandard performances under Lowes. Utterly clueless again today and our organisation on the pitch is non existent.
Time to leave on your own accord Jimmy. You've done your best but it isn't quite enough, save the club the embarrassment of dismissing a playing legend.
