Fair okay to him, still young obviously has a brain and will have a back up once his rugby is over. It says in t&a he is finishing his degree so I doubt he is calling time on his rugby league it's probably just a short break of a year.

what about tahi reihana? and didn't graham mackay only play one year for us? he would get in above any other winger mentioned so far.

I thought Herbert had a few good games for us but was a bit slow at times getting the ball out. he also became quite predictable with the short flat ball to Elima used regularly. I've no hard feelings against him though, he was a tryer but not quite the player we needed.

And the lad who signed for us in the first super league season, never played a game. Think he was called Michael Paris or something like that. Aussie school boy (but then so were BJ and Jim Gannon)

Hudson and Higham fighting it our for the hooking duties and Danny Sculthorpe in the pack instead of Hammer.

Maybe I was confusing him with someone else, it's a while back now and I've slept since then. I'll go with the Sculthorpe suggestion in his place though.

Looks an honest lad, but not good enough for mine. We've no link between the forwards and backs, and play stops at him far too often.

When are we going to start using them centre and wing thingies, perhaps Potter could introduce Herbert to them in training!
