from what ive heard i think adam henry is signing with bradford..
ive watched this kid slug it out the past two years and was fortunate to play 4 or 5 NRL games, good prospect was just stuck behind 2 international centres SKD & Jennings
he will definitely add value to the SL!
managed to find some footage on the kid too not bad!

Certainly looks to have a quick feet and a good pair of hands albeit reserve grade there.

yes although it is reserve grade i have watched a fair few sl games to say nsw cup is not far off the standard you play over there.
i dont personally know the kid but im telling u he can play.

The lad looks decent enough. Not as good as Lulia but talent like Keith is hard to find (and to afford). I'm not surprised he is in the reserves as Sydney are a very strong team. He is young too.

He's not as good as Michael Jennings or Shaun Kenny-Dowall.
Isn't that like saying don't sign Sam Burgess because he's not as good as Ellery Hanley was?

Competition for places is much stiffer in the NRL, he's a young bloke who hasn't really had much chance to step up - let's hope he takes it, if indeed he is the one.

I got you. And I was just using an example to emphasise essentially the same point. Just because you can't get in a team ahead of Jennings & Kenny-Dowall, does not make you rubbish. Deserves to be given a chance before written off. |
