Jeffries has 12 try assists this season so far*, which I would think is the best of any SH in SL. He was the best player at Millenium Magic IMO. Sure he is an enigma but singling out Jeffries is a tad harsh.

*Deacon has 1 try assist. Probably the worst.

Some one had to lose to Celtic at some point. Depends what the response is now.

The main thing we needs to be considered is the performance. Too many people are getting hung up on the fact that it was Celtic. Everyone knows (sorry everyone with any sense knows) that Celtic are not the whipping boys as described by the Bradford Terrible & Awful. But our performance was woeful. Half backs created nothing, forwards were stationery when receiving the ball and the kicking game was non existant. We all know that we can do it. We saw it against Saints. We even have Macca saying that some members of the team are not singing from the same hymn sheet and that he doesn't know why. I think Steve and the team need to be locked in a room and they should thrash it out amongst themselves.

There does appear (from the outside looking in) to be some sort of issue behind the scenes, what that is? I've no idea.

He's too friendly with the players. That's why they always come out and say how much time they have for McNamara.

Hmmm... when most that we've lost have been by single scores. Ah well, we beat Leeds when we weren't playing well so we've done the first thing.

I think that sums up the point perfectly if it's a tight game we normally end up loosing we don't seem to have the mental strength.

Yes I have to agree with you there, you'd have thought with experienced players like Newton, Menzies and Lynch we'd have the mental strength.

The majority of players we now have in the squad don't have a ackground of comming from winning clubs.
