IIRC Lease was bought by RFL from central funds, NOT SL. so any distribution of funds would be split amongst all member clubs not just the 12 members of SL. I'd expect any funds to back into central pot to help make up shortfall in next round of sport england funding

Agreed. Since the Council stopped paying for the upkeep we've been on the downward spiral. A SL Bulls couldn't afford it so there's no way a championship club (or phoenix club in League 1) could either.

Even SL clubs with new grounds don't perform well as they need to be propped up by their owners, although that takes less propping up than if you're in an old stadium.

Why does everyone keep mentioning the 12 clubs. It was the RFL that brought it, not SL Ltd. Oxford & Hemel have as much say as Leeds & Wigan.

I know the RFL have to be careful. RL is the most tribal of sports and they get accused of favourtism no matter what. But financially for the other clubs, it would be better if the Bulls survived. Featherstone reportedly earned £60k from their home game against us. They're not going to get a £60k windfall from the sale of Odsal. So it is better for Fev if we survive.

The RFL should never have brought Odsal. We've paid for it the years since.

I think it is possible that option 1 could include separate agreements that the RFL ( and therefore ALL members of the League and not just Superleague):
1. Has a financial stake in any future development
2. Has rights regarding use of any developed stadium
3. If they are considering moving from Red Hall , purpose built offices at the ground

You seem to have got us confused with Bradford Bulls who were once a good Super League side.

At the best, this Bradford Bulls is a struggling CHampionship side with a cobbled together team of players who occassionally get paid on time.

If we do somehow manage to;
1st. Still be in the Championship by the opening game,
2nd. Managed to retain any decent players
3rd and actually have a full squad on the day who actually want to play for their club

the best you are going to get is a very one-sided match where Hull KR absolutely stuff us and its an embarassment for the sport and the league.

Good news is some numpty in an office somewhere decided of all the teams to play Hull KR THREE TIMES they would choose the Bulls; so you will get chance to watch three very one-sided embarassing games before you are promoted back into Super League at your first opportunity.
