If so, Cummins should take him back till the end of the season IMO!'"
I'd like this to happen but Cummins doesn't seem to like Sammut. What about Scruton?

I'd take both back in a heart beat.

| The absence of an unpredictable, Sammutt type, player is the main thing wrong with our halves. He gives away some silly balls, that's true but he would almost certainly guarantee to win enough games to make our safety a bit more likely.

| We have no threat on the left edge whatsoever. Gale takes first receiver every time and he is usually stood on the right hand side of the play the ball. It's too easy for the opposition to shut us down.

| Quote: mat "Likes of mullally, d. Bridge, Greg Burke. But pay a fee to get them on proper season long deals so we can plan round them with no recall clauses. We can't settle with players constantly in and out of squad due to being recalled as soon as they've proved their fitness with us.'"
Mulally is now getting into the Huddersfield setup because of how he performed whilst with us.
Greg Burke is also getting into the Wigan squad because of their current injury crisis.
Bridge has just agreed a deal with Featherstone

Same. We have lacked threat on the left side all season without Sammut and our pack is too weak without Scruton. In my opinion, our two most important players last season.

I know that. But if we'd got proper season long loans, even if it meant paying a fee, they'd be getting into our team due to work we've done with them rather than their parent clubs benefiting. But their just obvious examples anyway, there's players out there if you look hard enough. Impression in getting from green and ferres is their using lack of availability as a cover for lack of investment and their quite happy to rebuild from SL2 next year. Hopefully I'm doing them a massive dis-service and that's not the case but that's my opinion of current situation.

| Twitter rumour that Sammutt is wanted at Fev, and with us seemingly signing Tim Smith on loan...you never know.

| So our rivals are making changes to their squads with some season long deals. Do we have anything in the pipeline?
Surely there must be a player who can improve our pack somewhere that we could sign for the remainder of the season? Anyone feel we've hung on waiting for a decision on the points before signing players? Or is there simply no money in the pot for team strengthening other than the odd loanee?

| You can forget Scruton and Sammut - Do you really think Wakey will do a favour for their main (only) relegation rival?

| Well Kaufusi didn't make the Giants 19 man squad this week! What a waste, he would have made a huge difference to us this week!

Or Mullaley, he'd make a difference as well

| Ironic isn't it, massive weekend coming up and Wakey sign a half back with a proven record for them and we lose two of our most effective forwards of late!

Not quite how I would describe it, something stronger in my mind
