A piece I just posted in the T&A and which I hope, the incoming owners will heed.The Bulls had and I hope will continue to have, strong family values and deep ties within the local community and a healthy bias toward youth development.
I recall meeting a young mum and her three children,2 boys and a girl.She told me how all three were playing in their various age groups in the Bulls set up .What balanced kids they were and how brilliant, that, as a family, they demonstrated the strength within the roots of the Club and the work done at community level.Most poignantly , she remarked on her admiration for a team who didn't have a set of kit, played their hearts out, but were annihilated by a Bulls outfit turned out professionally.I also think of the ladies team which was initiated and starting to flourish.The strengths of commitment at grass root's level and in the community doesn't deserve to be tarnished by those who mismanaged our affairs and indeed those who delight in the Club's plight.
I would just add, whilst we read of the players who have been able to move on, through this debacle, my thoughts are with the kids (and families), whose young lives revolved around the Club and hope they can still prosper.
