I was told 12th September that he'd signed. Don't always believe everything you read in the T&A or Yorkshire Evening Post and likewise what people post on here Matt.

| I have to say i agree with mick, just because they do not tell us now does not mean they do not know the situations with things a little more than they let on.
I also believe that the halves are sorted but a slight delay in announcing is tactical for purposes of compensation. IF we know who we are signing and they have agreed what is the rush?Diskin must not be classed as a player who could replace orford in terms of merchandise or image as other rumoured names could be argued.
Also how many of us who know we are likely to be leaving an old job and people who have frustrated and irritated us can refrain from having a little dig here and there? it is not pretty and it is not mature but we all do it from time to time.....
so cummins is aware of diskins frustrations and his worth to the management -has a quiet word and says we could give you a 3 year deal with a little more than you were on.

| For the position our club is in (missing out on playoffs two seasons running) I'd say signing the starting hooker for 3 of the last 4 grand final winners is about as marquee as we're going to get. Its a good signing for where we are....while Pryce is highly highly unlikely.

actually the difference between the polar diameter & the equatorial diameter is only 26 miles which isn't much but certainly enough for the earth to be descriced quite rightly as an oblate spheroid - interesting, innit ?
next question : what were the two principal exports of Leichtenstein in the 1960s ?

| Well the Diskin signing got me thinking. We didn't pay for him and he had a year to run on his current deal.
Who's to say a similar situation won't arise with Pryce?

| If we manage to get Pryce we should be aiming for the top 4.

| I have been told by a reliable contact that saints are prepared to let Leon leave the club. Bradford are going through all the necessary medical checks as of course only recently Leon has had some surgery on his neck. I for one hope that this all comes to fruition but I dont imagine any announcements until the Orford situation has been resolved.
When you sit back and look at the situation it makes great sense for Leon to return. A long and healthy contract (one imagines) a short commute to work and Bradford have another home grown product back on their books. Time will tell.

If we sign Pryce we should be aiming for more than that.
We have made some good signings, with a couple of excellent signings. Very pleased with the off season signings we have made.
Hopefully Godwin will now GTF cos he is useless.

| Let's not get carried away folks, with such a big turnover in personnel it will take time for the team to settle down. I think we'll do well to go from 10th (or wherever- I've blanked the memory out) to the top 4. We should aim high, but teams like Wire/Wigan/Saints will be very strong once again. If we solve the halfback issue though, I see no reason why we shouldn't be competing for a place between 1-6 though.

think that's a bit harsh on Wagga,as a neutral I feel he did ok when asked to come on - it was a tough ask for ALL the team losing a great player like Orford

that sounds more realistic - Potter is a decent coach and did a good job at Perpignan with a bunch of average SL players - top six would be good for you lot IMO

How much had your contact been drinking at the time?
Leon had his best ever season for the Saints in 2010 so why on earth would the club be prepared to let him go for 2011? If you factor in the significant change in personnel we have also just had it's even more ludicrous.
Like I said, in 2011 Leon will be a Saint. Fact.
After that, who knows?
