I was slightly concerned that with so much territory and forward momentum but only being 7-0 up at half time would potentially come back to bite us. We could have had the game sewn up earlier if Sammut and Gill finish off their tries.

I felt that in the second half we were relentless going forward. We bullied them in the forwards, marching down the field with power and control, setting the platform for some fantastic tries from Appo and Lilley. It was a full team effort, with everyone playing their part in a well-rounded display. Always good to get one over that mob.

Did anyone encounter the delays on the M606? Ben Reynolds’ dummy landed in the outside lane.

Didn't rate the Fev interchange prop, not quite as big as Pele but far too slow and lacked go forward, Patton I think he was called.

One of the highlights of the game was watching a smooth and slick Featherstone attack come to a screeching halt when Patton, with the overlap on the right side, throws a pass the sails into touch.

Loved Patton kicking for touch with about 17 mins on the clock, wondered if he'd forgotten that it was the 'away' column on the socreboard he needed to look at.
