L'Estrange looked to pull his hamstring and never returned. Langley and Pryce definitely picked up injuries. Not sure about Chev, I may have lost interest a little by that point. I guess they were all small factors that probably contributed towards the blowout score line. We were still clearly outplayed for nearly the entire match though.

| Agree with the title of the thread, but saying you're glad to see the back of some of them and that they're not fit to wear the shirt is absolutely pathetic.
Those blokes have give their all this season, played their hearts out for us, even when it looked like they might not get paid or might not even have a job soon. That doesn't mean they can't be criticised - they were dire tonight, but there may be a few reasons behind that? Don't think it's just me who's been wondering if/when the emotion/stress etc would catch up with us.
For me, every one of them still deserves to wear the RAB, you don't deserve to support them though.

20201.jpg "I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a triple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union. But I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league." - Graham Lowe (1995):20201.jpg |

| If I were to explain it i'd say that the huge build up - with the film beforehand and then the players running out with their own kids etc might have played a part - they started off like a storm and if that'd been left to develop it might have been completely different. The sin-binning and the couple of tries Hull got back immediately plus another just on Jefferies return meant we started playing as individuals and panicking, probably partly because of the huge expectation they were carrying on their shoulders. Mistakes built upon mistakes and Hull were on their game and Shrek and Lynch were superb in making metres and off loading. Logically the best team won, but I'd love to have seen the game without the sin-binning.
Remember Eddie's only happy when he's moaning. This lot of players have made me proud to be a Bulls fan on lots of occasions this year, and I knew someday that our 71-0 defeat of Hull post CC win would eventually be given us back, what goes around etc, love the fact they can't get KR out of their minds even when thrashing us though, and of course their fans are largely great fun and good humoured tonight for obvious reasons!
Well done Hull, COYB playoffs still there to be claimed, just need Widnes and Wigan to do us a favour.

| The performance was inept and quite frankly awful and disgusting to watch.
However, with the few months we have had i am still in the mindset of being happy to be even able to watch a team who is around to be battered.
That team was a shadow of the lads from the past few outings.
Diskin's worst ever game imo. And i would put money on it that Pryce could come back on to play if he wanted to but saw the scoreline and let it be.

| I must admit I was a little uncomfortable with the short interview with Potter before the match. In reality it probably had no bearing on the perfromance but the big build up seem to be neglecting the fact that we had a very important game to get through.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

| Just one of those days, you even started the 2 nd half quite well, moving the ball wide, then a quick try and a dodgy bounce from a good kick and game over, from then on pretty much anything that could go wrong for you did , and everything Hull tried came off
RL is a cruel game, it isnt unusual once a game has ' gone ' , for teams to rack up big scores without reply, the Bulls have inflicted similar defeats many times in the past

| The season at home ended as it started with a heavy defeat. They did the opposite of what they normally do by getting off to a good start. It all went wrong from the sinbining. As poor as we were we have to give Hull credit, they were red hot. As anarkik said, o'meley and Lynch were rampant.

| It looked to me as though Pryce bottled it, he gets a bang in the ribs and that's him done. I've seen him do this a few times in his career, he's a bit of a baby really, especially when you take his build into consideration.
Big guy, small appetite for the game.

He has done it a lot this season! Every other game he seems to injure himself, never caused by a bad tackle but rather by him running into a player!
Many players would have returned to the field tonight, i will take this back i KP is badly injured but i am fairly confident he saw the scoreline at HT and any slight desire to play on quickly left him

| KP has had loads of chances at various clubs both League and Union.
Ever was, and remains a bottler.
A swing gate in defence tonight.

| Wow. P*ss poor tonight. Some people are massivly over-reacting though Simply a bad day at the office.
Jeffries should not have been binned. Up until that play we were dominating. He went to the bin. They got 2 tries and heads were down. We lacked enthusiasm and the willingness to work but in all fairness these last few months have been hell for them. Seymour should have had a yellow possibly a red (didn't see the reply on screen). Defense was poor but I think people are missing a valuable point. That Hull side was filled with class. They were embarrassed by Widnes and they were not going to be beat today. I truly think that Wigan and Warrington would have struggled today because everything Hull did came off. Passes stuck, they got a few decisions and bounces went their way.
However for such a crap performance there were a few positives:
Lulia never gave up. Pryce looked useful before he was injured. Langley was putting in a big shift in defence. Ainscoughs desire to get back and stop McGoldrick. Crookes efforts in attack and in defence. Olbison and Kopczak making breaks. The backing up of some players.
All I can say is playoffs or no playoffs. 2012 has been a relative success. Wins against Saints, Leeds, Huddersfield, Hull KR, the comeback at Hull KR and the memorable win at Wigan overshadow the performances against Wigan and Hull FC at home and Saints away. Lulia, Gale and Manuokafoa have been excellent finds too
