| My Guilfoyle has emailed the person behind the fans meeting;
`Elated at gate of 10k it impressed potential purchaser..but only about 20% appeared to have paid in? `
Im sure he told us season ticket holders we didnt have to, only if we wanted to

Even so its not unreasonabe for him to make the point that we didnt take a lot of cash, that he doent have a great deal more money than before the game.

| Genuine question, and it may be a stupid one:
Where exactly does the money go fom yesterday's gate after we have covered the costs of holding the match? Towards paying the debts we have? Or towards the administrators' cost?
I would be interested to know, just wondering.

| Im curious too.. I for one didnt pay in, but i did buy lots of bits from the shop as did others i was with. So im sure they will have taken more than enough to cover the costs of putting the game on .

| Quote: SIMMSFAXTEDDY "while i agree with the loyalty of the fans and players in this tough time should be applauded, should a club that has managed to run up this much debt, that will likely get written off be allowed to continue in the top tier.
i dont think that any club 'deserves' to eat from the top table if they have missbehaived as Bradford have.
Hardly be setting an example to other clubs.
but we'll have to see what happens in the next few days and what stance our governing body have on it.'"
The only difference between us and most other SL clubs is that the massive debts that they have run up have been written off to their sugar daddys bank accounts, whereas being the peoples club, we have got the tax man to write it off.

Think Bulls have a more severe debt issue than what Wakefield had in 2011 who owed taxman £300k and when Wakefield went into administration they lost 2/3 of the only decent SL players they had (Obst, Ferguson & Millard) plus they had a 6 point deduction for the season.
Bulls have a very good top 6 squad which will be hard to keep hold of and I do hope that a Bradford team exists in rugby league after next week.

Wakefield were deducted 4 points for entering administation. When wakefield exited admin we revamped the shop, sorted the catering issues we had and improved the bar / eating facilities within the ground. This allowed us to improve the revenue generated by the club.

| You will actually find we built up plenty of reserves in our time of winning. Most moved on because we had an excellent core pf players who were at the time the best in the world proven on 3 separate occasions.
In the 2003/2004/2005 seasons for example:
Leon Pryce
Paul Deacon (played with us since 16 years old)
Jamie Peacock
Stuart Reardon
Rob Parker
Stuart Fielden
Jamie Langley
Karl Pryce
Chris Bridge
Aaron Smith
Richard Moore (made his professional debut)
Matt Cook
Brett Ferres
Ryan Atkins
How many of them are/were big time players? How many are still playing Super League? How many have made it in Rugby League?
Built up no reserves my backside. Most of those players at the time (or now like Atkins) would get in your team in fact would get in most teams now.

| Bulls Boy I think you will find our friend was talking about financial reserves or money for a rainy day, something we are having a lot of at the moment!

I am talking about fixing the roof when the sun is shining , instead you spent like a Greek Govt inc 'busting the cap' to win things

Wakefield exited administration after being bought by Andrew Glover, the fact he took on some of the liabilities most likely lessened the points deduction from the maximum 6 pts. What would be interesting to know so a comparison could be made was the actual amount of debt that was defaulted.
