dont think theres a great deal to choose between them TBH. Robertson is more a quick winger/fullback whereas purtell is more the powerhouse winger/ type. similar scoring averages but purtell has age on his side. decent signing for quins but wouldnt necessarily say hes better than purtell. horses for courses and all that. |

hes a better winger than purtell but purtell is/can be a centre which is more an area of weakness for the bulls. because of this, i would say purtell is better for us, plus we dont know what salaries these guys are comanding.
i would have loved to have signed the prop that quins did, cant believe nobody else was mentioned about signing him

Agreed, but we already have two wingers with pace in ainscough and raynor without having to use a quota spot. Think in our case were better served getting someone who could at least possibly play in the troublesom spots which we've done. Not saying Robertson isn't a good signing just that purtell is maybe a better fit for our squad. |
