From what I've heard its a family driven move as opposed to him being approached by any NRL club. He looks a great prospect and I'm sure we'll put something in place if he does return to the UK that we get first refusal.

Hopefully somebody with sense would put something like that in any agreement. At least we got 75k for big Sammy, great deal that was considering little Sammy has just gone for half a million.

Sadly I think Naughton is going but hasn't got anything lined up as far as a club is concerned. His move is down to family circumstances rather than anything else.

More so shocking that players are more than happy to sign up to Contracts but fail to commit to them. (Although I suppose they may have NRL exit clauses in which should be looked at by the club).
I suppose its generally not good to see home grown talent moving to other clubs no matter what the cause but I am sure it will happen more and more. |

You after a potential JP replacement? Would Leeds re-sign a player that chose to leave? I think there's only been a handful of players that have done that in Leeds whole history.

I was told 3rd or 4th hand about Naughton about 4 weeks ago, and in good forumer etiquette subsequently slapped it on rlthis threadrl. It seems the info got slightly mixed up in translation and it wasn't necessarily a move for himself. If this does happen then apologies to the lad.
