Quote: dboy "And you conveniently ignore that you received that punishment for your previous mismanagement!

Twice in 2 years!

If, after admin 1, Bulls had addressed their business properly, admin 2 would not have happened.

You are reaping what you sowed.'"

Twice in 2 years true! But almost inevitable one would follow another without a sugar daddy and the threat of relegation, forcing you to push to the limit.

Didn't cut the cloth did they?

Thou shalt not draw on the biggest expense and cut cost despite thou not being able to afford biggest expense. That's obviously the rfl's fault though

Quote: Bullseye "What a mess. Now all the dirty linen is being done in public there's no way back for Moore & Co. The other investors the administrator saw were even less likely to take over than Moore so I really don't see any light at the end of the tunnel here.

While the weekend's game may go ahead we're back in admin and with no foreseeable new owners likely to come in I can only see eventual liquidation at the moment.

If that happens then that's me done with RL.

Looks like the London game could be emotional
My sentiments exactly. This could be the final nail in the coffin for me and RL. If this is how it finishes I'm done. 20 + years, it's been a roller coaster journey only to crash and burn. "Time to die"

Quote: Adeybull "What don't you believe?

Go ask ANYONE up at the club what THEY believe. They have had to live through it.

Of COURSE the bloody business was bust! Of COURSE more money was going out than was coming in! Moore & Calvert believed they had fixed that long-term, through a combination of swinging cuts and income improvements. But they clearly could not cover the £2/3m Sky monies confiscation. Only a multi-millionaire could.

Seems pretty clear to me that the Sky monies confiscation meant the only way the Bulls could survive was with a very wealthy owner prepared to bankroll the club. None has ever been forthcoming.

Those responsible for the Sky money confiscation should hang their heads in shame. Great business model, RFL

So you agree, liquidation is the logical, if not only, course of action?

Didn't the bulls get an advance in their sky which meant it was reduced long term to plug short term holes?

He would not be buying a SL club.

He would be buying litle more than a Championship club, since relegation would be an absolute certainty.'"

Isn't that the general point of the RFL statement, that London have had to do that to avoid administration?

Seems kind of fickle, there's more to rugby league than the bulls.

So what are these magical things that London and Wakefield have done that the Bulls haven't?

This smug "You should cut your cloth accordingly" sentiment keeps coming up but I do not see Wakefield or London doing something the Bulls haven't done over the last 2 years.

Cut costs? Done that

Cut back on staff? Done that both off and on the pitch.

So please, WHAT have Wakefield and London done differently?

Good question, now remember the noise about that a couple of years ago, so honestly cannot answer how much the reduction was to recover those advances, I'm sure someone will provide a full answer

If anyone thinks our squad is as strong as 2 years ago, look again, proving we have reduced our costs significantly!

It is not the point of my post though.

I asked who the hell would pay good money to buy, and fund, the Bulls business (what is left of it) off the administrator, in the certain knowledge it was a Championship club in waiting he was buying? And would have to pour money in this year for...pretty well nothing whatsoever, really?

Just go buy a Championship club and put your money into THAT.

I hope the RFL have plans in place for a 13-team competition for SL 2014? Because I fear it will either be that, or Bulls putting boys out to be beaten up by big hard men every week, getting lower and lower on numbers till you are down to young teenagers.

Absent a Marwen, who the hell would want to put money into such a lost cause???

But never mind, at leats the other clubs can share out the REST of our SKy money between themsleves.

The insults have started...

Open your eyes, see the people running your club for what they are, see that the business is not sustainable, accept that the Bulls business model does not work, accept that change is needed.

And accept that if change is not immediate, you won't have a club to follow.

And stop insulting people just because they don't agree with you.
