You are quoted as suggesting that we should treat next year as a 1 year diversion on the route back to success - what do you see as the most critical requirements in terms of playing and backroom staff for next years promotion challenge?'"
It may be worth pointing out that far from being a one year diversion it is closer to 12 year diversion.

| Several good questions Bullseye.
But AC is a true business man (you can see that in his list of companies) so he will give us all the answers that makes us feel warm and secure.
Then he'll just carry on regardless of our feelings. I cant see him making money out of this latest venture (unless £'s cross palms for the ground/site) so he's either in this to tick the Bulls off his bucket list or as a favour to his pal Nige.
I'd be surprised if AC was still with us this time next year unless promotion (to SL2) is guaranteed.
He will probably use my list of "poll answers" as a check sheet at the forum because at least one of them could answer every question.
But I genuinely respect you guys that are going and will ask him the tough questions; you've stuck in there when most of us have called it a day.
But irrespective of his answers, if we choose to support this club - we need to win more games than we lose; whatever league we are in - and he has known that since January.
I'll give him that it was a really shoite start to the season with minus 12, no players, no club etc - but he knew that was what he was buying. So this season he has a clean slate (albeit the court cases/ET still hanging over us) so this is his last roll of the dice.

| If I think about this season (I try hard not to) then what grates is we made a fantastic start and would not have been relegated if we'd added the necessary bodies to keep a reasonable standard up. Instead we stood on the tracks doing nothing, despite everyone knowing the Easter train was coming, it hit us, and we never recovered.
You can all say what you want about player availability, I'm sure that if we'd had had a decent amount of money available then we could have plugged the gaps at least enough not to sink. TBF ChaLow always made it clear they didn't have the money but it didn't make the pill any less bitter to watch the completely predictable collapse.
Ironically, keeping the ship afloat in 2018 (if they do) will likely cost them much more money than raising enough to plug the gaps would have done pre-Easter.

Good point that. Question for tomorrow night "Which do you think is the least expensive course of action 1. Buying players to prevent being caught under strength over Easter and the following weeks and thus avoiding relegation or 2. Spending an entire season in C1 and having lower attendances?

| I think they'll probably come back with the signings of Chisholm, Smith etc. If Chisholm hadn't have got injured in the SB, i genuinely think we would have been alright. We never recovered from the thuggery game against Dewsbury, Weak refereeing allowed kids to be hurt that day. You could see the whole squad just deflate. I think a few were shook up from what was allowed to happen that day. Losing became a habit and with referees allowing the nonsense in the Swinton, Dewsbury games etc to carry on, our young squad just weren't experienced enough to rise above it.

| It was the expectation and then the disappointment which annoyed and irritated me. We were told by one journalist we were to have a jaw droppingly good coach named. It turned out to be Toovey. The "expectation" was that surely he would be backed by incoming players. We announced the squad numbers with no 10, 12, or 13 listed. Again the "expectation" was that reinforcements would be coming. But nothing happened. From then on as we know, nothing happened and absolutely no communication all season from the board, apart from the Q & A a couple of forum members tried to drag from them. All told a disastrous season, with regrettably for me, own goals which could and ought to have been avoided.

Should've signed Chisholm from the off. Instead they let him go to Sheffield and then there was the subsequent messing about.
Not sure if that was down to the work permit issue.
I'd rather not rake over old coals tomorrow night but I'd like to know why they didn't come clean about the visa delay from the off. That and the away kit fiasco made the owners look like amateurs.

Indeed. What's done is done. It's all about the future now.

We were told that it was because they couldn't get in contact with him. Honestly (!!).
The players that were signed were there when they got the club, Chisholm was unreachable on the other side of the planet.
They did admit that NOT signing his was a mistake and with hindsight they should have chased and procured him before Sheffield did.

They also told you that the problem with the dipsh*t in charge of the website and social media was being sorted, and yet he's still out there making mistakes left, right and centre.
As much as I and others appreciate you guys trying to get some answers, I think it's become apparent that most of those answers were, to pardon the pun, Bull.

Let's hope that, no matter what the future might hold, we get a rallying call on Wednesday like the one from the Toulouse president here:
www.totalrl.com/toulouse-target- ... nish-2018/
We don't want the usual guff of excuses for this year - we're fully aware of the results.
We need to hear the main people acknowledge that their plans for this year have been rocked, and that next year we'll see a totally focussed, committed, well managed and skillful team, who will play with passion and pride for this once great club.
But....I'm not holding my breath....
