I agree that might be a temptation like it was with green and Lowes, but Unless the Bulls icon has an established and respected coaching career im not interested. We've learnt thus lesson already. If we're not going with Rohan we need experience for what will be a really tough season, keeping the fans won't happen if a rookie coach keeps getting taught a lesson each week by Dewsbury and Oldham.

They won't get anybody with the experience of high class modern systems and the contacts that Rohan Smith has.

However, they might just be better off with somebody that can get in and just motivate them to play hard.

It would be interesting to know what points they disagreed on.

Given the close proximity to the start of the season, and the fact that this season is probably a write-off anyway, what did they have to lose by taking him on and giving him a chance? he already knew the players (those that remain) so is one step ahead compared to any new coach coming in.

I wonder if it was to do with being asked to take a reduced salary? I've no inside knowledge, but given the rumoured financial constraints, its not beyond the realms that he was asked to take a cut.

Saying they are looking for a proven experienced coach though so surely if thats what they are looking for that cant be an issue

So a new coach to find along with a new team now, good stuff.

I'm liking their style already, let's ditch anyone who has shown any loyalty. No room for sentimentality in this game.
