TBH thats something they could have used to help push the pledge rather than the ultimatum/doomsday approach theyve gone with. We've still got option of admin, wiping image rights bill but voiding player contracts and getting a points deduction with inevitably players being snapped up by other clubs. better to push the pledge as a way of clearing debts and retaining our youth rather than route that has been taken.

Thought it was the typical load of guff that you hear from them everyday, lot's of buisiness plans, moving forward, short term liabilty bollards. No actually commitment to what needs to be done or why things have gone wrong.

Different story from Duckett on Look North. They didn't check that selling off the lease to Odsal to the RFL would mean they had no security for their overdraft, without which the RBS would withdraw support. No wonder he wants us to focus on 'moving forward' as anyone looking at how they've just handled the sell off would conclude they were financially incompetent. Also no obvious explanations as to where the income streams will come from to avoid the possibility that we'll need a similar overdraft in the future and without any security we won't get it. I'm afraid this smacks of desperation and a last attempt to lure potential investors, the 'other conversations' he was talking about.

Good deal for a potential take over y a new investor, particularly if it's the fans stumping up some new capital.

Still seems a bit fishy to me, with the talk of future financial plans already in place if we cough up first. Basically it appears like just asking someone to pay off the debt just so they can simply move on scott free.

I agree with most of the things said. I for one are gunna pledge between £20-30 (even tho im on dole) but I have been and always will be a massive Bulls fan and even though I dont really like Peter Hood, I think very highly of Duffy and Duckitt as I did my work experience with them in 2005.

That a Chief Executive would admit to not knowing what assets were used to secure the club's overdraft is genuinely amazing. That he would then sell those assets effectively plunging the club to within a fortnight of liquidation is really pretty funny.

I'm assuming the interview with Radio Leeds was his last act before clearing his desk and handing back the company laptop.

In the piece before the interview on Look North it stated that the sale of the ground lease secured the short term future of the Bulls. Not the long term future that Hood, Duckett and Duffy would have you believe.

Another reason I'm very reluctant to pledge any money for the simple reason where still going to be left with the same folk running the club that doesn't fill me with confidence.

As I posted on my Facebook page earlier, I want am so torn. I desperately want to help the club but I have lost a lot of faith in the people running the club. On the other hand, who takes over if some members of the board decided to resign? Would that leave us in an even more critical position?

So disappointed with the club for so many reasons. What happens to the 5yr deal season ticket if we don't find the money... Not looking great value right now. Feel so sorry for the folk who may have stumped up even more.
