| Well no change at the top, we all played pants. So nothing lost but nothing gained either.
God knows what will happen in the Wigan game. 7 or 8 players to suffer heart attacks no doubt. Could be some very sore bodies, next week.
On the bright side Meli will be fresh on the down side Tomkins (aka rat boy) (aka boo boy) (aka arm holder ) will be fresh.

True the 2nd one had a call for obstruction, but the obstructed guy did manage to get his arms around Lomax's neck.'"
Makes no odds..lomax could have been tackled 8metres out if he wasnt obstructed..just because he was tackled after he ran past it was still an obstruction to begin with.

I did say there was a call for it, did not admit it was clear cut as dixon was stood still when the player ran into him. The fact he was stood still in the Bradford line is more the question. If it was Wilkin I'd say yeh it was obstruction, being Dixon, I'd be more inclined to say he was waiting for the number 54.

| I have to say penalty now. At the time I was seething, but with hindsight, damn stupid by Lynch. Kearney had it covered.
The galling thing is the total inconsistency. Jeffries taken out several times after kicking through - no penalties. Herbert flattened late and high by Wilkin - nothing. It's just the usual story really.
My wife said after we went ahead - we only need to keep Saints out until the end and we will win! My reply: "Don't worry, Child will give them a penalty in the last minute." And bang on cue....

| I think it was a pentalty, the tries are 50/50 calls and could of gone eitherway. As for Wilkin on the kickers well i think he was comited to it everytime and in those conditions its hard to stop anyway. All in all though i think you played the conditions far better than we did.

Committed to what though? Taking Herbert out or charging for the ball?
I thought the penalty was justified, but so were a fair few others that weren't given throughout the game but that's sport. We deserved to take 2 points from today's game IMO, I thought we were the better side all things considered.
Just relieved to see the team playing well and defending as a team now. Big game against Hull next week, let's hope we have some energy left in the tank after that effort in tough conditions!

You could see what Wilkin was trying to do. He wasn't just going for the ball, he was going to tackle Herbert. If he stops the kick great, if he doesn't then he gets the bonus of a cheap shot on a playmaker.
