Why no Donno? Injured, rested or dropped?

We are driving up to Perpignan tomorrow from LLoret. It was San Jorge day yesterday and we got on the local news. We followed the TV cameras and a local political hotshot at the market and my 5yr old managed to get his Bradford Bulls cap in the background on 2 shots! COYB

Of course, at the moment, he's coming back after a serious injury. Hence, I assume, why he is rested this week.

Donno has had far too much expectation on him. I have been disappointed with him, but only really on the back of this expectation. He doesn't seem big enough to me. I'd imagine he's not quite fully fit to cope with 2 games in such a short space of time.

I also thought Whitehead was going to have a big season, but it's not to be yet.

Unfortunately the potential of these youngsters was overhyped in order to deflect from the disaster McNamara's reign as coach was, people who watched these lads regularly at junior level did try and temper expectations, but concerns were brushed off.

Sadly it will be these lads who ultimately suffer for it in the end, they will probably turn out to be solid SL players but as they aren't the world beaters promised they'll be getting stick for it.

He does indeed make plenty of 'routine' tackles, something which the majority of our squad seem to be struggling with at the moment. He has just come back from a serious injury and has made a very solid return, he may not be setting the world alight just yet but he has broken a couple of tackles from his limited number of carries.

Give the guy a break and get behind the team.

Donaldson 30.67 tackles per game, can't remember if I went all stato before or after the Leeds game - that would be the highest in the team by the way so routine or not we'll miss them.

That said when he is fit, I would rather see Addy back at loose to give us some more options in attack.

About average for a LF then?
The guy is average, nothing more. God knows why folks belive he's some soon to be superstar.
