Long's disciplinary hearing has now been moved to tomorrow as he was ill yesterday. If he gets a ban tomorrow afternoon I assume there aren't any bureaucratic procedures to be completed which would mean his ban starts after our Friday game would there?

That could only happen when they're due to face Bradford, further proof that the RFL hate Bradford and are conspiring to screw us over every which way possible.

I thought Hull had played better without him anyway? Get him in the team, wind him up and get him sent off again.

Squad is up:

Ainscough, Ah Van, Bateman, Burgess, Diskin, Donaldson, Elima, Hargreaves, Herbert, Kearney, Kopczak, L'Estrange, Lynch, Olbison, Royston, Sibbit, Sykes, Walker, Whitehead.

Bateman in for Briggs and L'Estrange in there but not 100% fit. Would like to see Heath fit and back in the team but also interested to see how Bateman will go in SL.

Bateman was immense last weekend in the U20's I thought.

What position has been playing in? Comment on the T&A site about seeing him play at centre on Friday? I thought he'd been playing loose and hooker.

If batemans been playing a bit at hooker, squad would make sense. otherwise its a gamble including l'estrange (if not fully fit) and not having o'brien in squad (in addy's absence).

Not really. If L'Estrange isn't fit, they can always bring O'Brien in to replace him anyway if they want. Much like they did last week with Addy, despite the fact Addy wasn't named in the 19.

If a player is legitimately injured, he can be replaced in the 19 man squad.
