Didn't we have this exact same discussion last year when we drew Dewsbury?

I know we have more season ticket holders now, but it's exactly the same situation. We will get an allocation from Fax (which I'm sure I heard has to be at least 30%) and it'll be a first come first served situation. If you don't get your free ticket from that first allocation, you could be in a situation of "tough sh*t". If Fax however look like they're not going to sell all of their part, they could then allocate some more. Simples.

just got off the phone to the ticket office, they don't know any details yet and when they know more, the information will be published to the website (probably a p*ss off, it's Monday morning and the draw was yesterday response).

...I find it annoying how harsh people are on the guys in the shop and ticket office.

i wasn't being harsh, the club were very nice and told me they didn't have any details. to be fair it was what I expected on the day after the draw.

Just looking at the draw it seems to be the most attractive fixture. It's a derby match and just might provide an upset. The TV people like that sort of thing. So for those not able to get a ticket, at least it should be on the telly.

I suspect Leeds v Crusaders will be the other televised game.

Leeds/Crusaders is guaranteed. The BBC like to take every opportunity they can to essentially show a Super League game.

The other tie to me could only be one of two. It's either ours, or the Leigh/Catalan game, as they are easily the best two of the rest. Ours being a derby and Fax being champions of their league though, suggests ours would be the most obvious.

Just found out that if Halifax can't get the stand sorted the stadium will be limited to around 6k!! It's going to be a battle for tickets

I won't be going so that's 10,999 Bradford fans that will be fighting for tickets. I hope it's true that the game is televised as I am stuck in a recording studio all that weekend.

The club should adopt a reasonable approach to the dispensing of tickets for this and all future "free" games where to numbers available is less than our total number of ST Holders.

There are fans that go week in week out and stuck with the side through the really tough times in recent seasons. My opinion is that tickets should be allocated based on the ST Holders history for purchasing away tickets this season. They could also factor in the home games you have been too this year as well. Give a point for each home game and two for an away (that has been played or has tickets on sale for) and those with so many points go first then so on!
